This Asees guy is the nephew of Late Mr. Ponty Chadha. He was driving the Bentley at the time of accident.

Its bad english - the late Ponty Chaddha was killed in a gunfight with his brother who also got killed in the same fight in 2015. I have corrected the original sentence so that it makes sense

AWD and that teeny bit of earth was calling for that

Re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

Got these from a whatsapp forward and it’s just happened yesterday early morning in Kerala.

From the video, it looks like as if it came straight off from a 2 lane highway and suddenly lost traction to the left, only to scrape some barriers after the road shoulder. Had it not been for some proper manoeuvre after it lost control, it could have bulldozed right into the building.

That looks horrible! Did the driver come out unharmed? Looks like midnight.

Re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

People earn/inherit a disproportionate amount of money than the average common man out of sheer talent / birthright.

However, somehow :

1) they think it takes the same amount of skill to control a 400 bhp + car , as it does to control a <100 bhp hatchback.

AND/OR

2) they think that they possess a higher talent to drive cars, than the common man, purely because they are much more talented at making/having money

AND/OR

3) they think because it's a hugely powerful car, it is an insult to drive it anywhere <100 kph, anywhere.

YET, IT NEVER OCCURS TO THEM :
to spend some money and go abroad and learn performance driving from an authorized training center (most performance car brands have a 'trainer' facility to teach noob drivers how not to crash their expensive toys). If they can pay 200% import duty , the expense for such a thing is peanuts, in comparison.

I don't think anyone got hurt. The 18-year-old owner is still active on IG and is busy driving his other cars. I was told that the owner left the scene with the license plates soon after the crash.

Sharing a few more pics from the spot.

It looks like a Audi R8 to me. But again I may be wrong. Only the garage owner or car owner can tell us now.

Most likely the car in the corner is an AMS Alpha tuned Nissan GTR.

IMO That is the worst garage fire in India.

Is the blue car in the corner in the second picture a Lamborghini (Aventador)?

Re: Supercar & Import Crashes in India

Happened to get these images on WhatsApp about a Range Rover Evoque crash near NICE Road exit. Going by the looks of it, I am guessing this is the Hoskerehalli/PES College Exit.

Looks ghastly! From what I have heard, 4 people were in the car including the Sales person, over-speeding at about 180kmph, collided with the barricade (I am assuming) and rolled over about 7 times.

Apparently, one person passed away.

May his/her soul Rest in Peace.
