@flyingspur: This is in Hyderbabad, not Bangalore
Good to know that the occupants were not fatally injured. And the post crash pictures must be horrific.

^^Very sad to know about the accident. Eventhough he was in a Bentley, the driver was very badly injured!!
How can a Flying Spur cost 3.56 crore? Even with a lot of additional options it should be atleast 1crore less, isnt it?

As Sad as i feel to make this post,
Here's the link to the write up in Times. The license plate number is also mentioned on the newspaper article, so I did not find a point to erase/hide it here in the pictures.

The picture of the accident site and Bentley is published in today's Deccan. The online URL is Handle with care | Deccan Chronicle | 2010-09-04

Very sad to see the Bentley in such a state.

It's so heart breaking to see the car in that shape - it's a write off for sure.

That is just so sad. The newspaper said the driver was doing 140kph. I guess it was much more seeing the state of the car. Terrible. Very sad.

>>> Apologies for the late response, but saw your post just now.

A few queries :
Did the newspapers precipitate the accident?
Is the behaviour of the driver of the car very good as compared to the behaviour of the local media personnel or the citizenry?
Why is the KSEB electric post silly?

Going by your post, I might just get the notion that you are in a way justifying the accident, and are approving the road manners of the driver who caused it. Also it seems that being financially well off absolves you of any misdemeanour.

I thought that a misdemeanour is a misdemeanour, regardless of your financial status and that the law should be the same for all. Or should it not be so?

Regards

Uploading the pic from DC. Its so sad to see the beauty in such a state. Apparently it was being driven at over 140+kph and the driver lost control.

Horrific crash! Thank goodness there were no casualties. The Bentley has 8 airbags right? I guess now people should realize the importance of having this safety feature.

I wonder what speed would the car be going at? 5 rolls means he must be going at 130-150kph.
