Ferrari Enzo! The Dream Car Ever Produced By Ferrari!!

The Enzo Ferrari is a 12 cylinder mid-engine berlinetta named after the company's founder, Enzo Ferrari. It is currently one of the most powerfulnaturally aspirated production cars in the world. It was built in 2003 using Formula One technology, such as a carbon-fibre body, F1-style sequential shift transmission, and Carbon fibre-reinforced Silicon Carbide (C/SiC) ceramicdisc brakes.

a limited production run of 349 units and priced at US $643,330.All 349 cars were sold in this way before production began. Later, after numerous requests, Ferrari decided to build 50 more Enzos, bringing the total to 399. All Enzos are listed as being built in 2003.

Ferrari built one more Enzo - the 400th car - and it was auctioned by Sotheby's Maranello Auction on June 28, 2005, to benefit survivors of the 2004 Tsunami for €950,000 (US$1,274,229), almost twice its list price.

The Enzo is a mid-engined car with a 43.9/56.1 front/rear weight distribution. The engine is Ferrari's F140 65° V12 with 4 valves per cylinder, dual overhead cams and variable valve timing. Bosch Motronic ME7 fuel injection is used and the engine is naturally aspirated. It displaces 5998 cc (366 in³) and produces 485 kW (651 hp/660 PS) at 7800 rpm and 657 N·m (485 [ft·lbf of torque]) at 5500 rpm.The redline is 8200 rpm

The Enzo Ferrari has 4 wheel independent suspension with push-rod actuated shock absorbers which can be adjusted from the cabin, complemented with anti-roll bars at the front and rear.

The Enzo uses 483-millimetre (19 in) wheels and has 381-millimetre (15 in) Brembo disc brakes.

Enzo can accelerate to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.14 seconds and can reach 100 mph (160 km/h) in 6.6 seconds.

The ¼ mile (~400 m) time is from 10.8 to 11.2 sec at well over 130 mph (210 km/h) and the top speed is around 368 kilometers per hour (227 mph).

It is rated at 12 miles per US gallon (20 L/100 km; 14 mpg-imp) in the city and 18 miles per US gallon (13 L/100 km; 22 mpg-imp) on the highway.

2009 SSC Ultimate Aero - World's Fastest Production Car Gets Even Faster
Not content to sit on the title of Guinness-certified world's fastest production car, United States-based supercar manufacturer Shelby Supercars has made the 2009 Ultimate Aero even faster. A new engine block, designed and produced in-house at SSC, is made from billet aluminum in a single piece and allows extreme load to be put through the motor. Horsepower is increased to an insane 1287 bhp.

The SSC Ultimate Aero does more than just revamp the engine and call it a day. A racing-derived AeroBrake system, or a rear spoiler system that raises at an angle relative to how quickly and how much the brake pedal is depressed, should provide just a little more security for Ultimate Aero drivers who will undoubtedly attempt some crazy personal land speed records of their own.

The official Guinness-certified world record for production car top speed is 256.15 mph, held by the 2008 Ultimate Aero. To attain the record, the Guinness system requires a car to make a pass along a single stretch of road, and then make another pass along the same stretch in the reverse direction, within one hour.

At its highest point the 2008 Ultimate Aero actually attained an even faster speed of 257.11 mph. Based on the power increase and proported increased airflow to the radiators due to new carbon fiber louvers bracing the side intakes, SSC claims the new 2009 Ultimate Aero will be good for a top speed of 270 miles per hour. Bang.

The quarter mile now comes in 9.9 seconds at a wiplash-inducing 144 mph. Are there any other factory stock production cars that can run a quarter mile in the 9's? We think not.

A new interior further differentiates the new 2009 SSC model from previous cars, featuring an exposed carbon fiber dash with all the requisite monitoring gear and an Azentek-developed Infotainment unit. Shelby Supercars has not yet released official 2009 SSC Ultimate Aero base price info, but expect it to raise just slightly from last year's Ultimate Aero base price of $654,500.

All I need to buy the road and learn the skills to control this lightning comet.

If you really want to get noticed with non-car people there's no point getting a Mclaren F1 or a Reventon.

I'd say an Ariel Atom, a Smart or something like that would really do the trick.

Bowler nemesis for me

Like the Bowler Wildcat that preceded it, the Nemesis has a tubular steel spaceframe construction that incorporates a roll cage as an integral part of the frame structure. The spaceframe and roll cage are approved by the Motor Sports Association for racing. Unlike the Wildcat, the Nemesis features a fully independent suspension design.
Bowler will offer the Nemesis with 4.4 or 4.0 liter displacement naturally aspirated V-8 or a 4.2 liter displacement supercharged V-8. A six speed manual transmission is fitted as standard with the option of a dog engagement racing transmission. The vehicle features a 60/40 torque split limited slip center differential with over-lock and limited slip front and rear differentials.
Body panels are made of a composite material called Twin-tex with some carbon fiber pieces in areas where higher strength is required.
The Nemesis has a 415 litre capacity racing fuel cell to allow the vehicle to run the longest Dakar Rally stages

@josepeter:
Great choice. A bowler will turn heads for sure.
