it is in a pretty bad condition in fact... it is a 2002 model and the 2nd owner.. the 1st owner is known to mess up his cars big time as he has done with his 911s with techarts which he currently has.. the suspension is not in great condition either .. has been on sale for the past 6 months.. car is currently in panchsheel park..

To a layman like me it looks immaculate, though I'd like to know from you Ishan what makes it look average.

I can't say exactly why but for me it's a feel thing. One look at a car or a picture of it can make me feel whether the condition is good or bad. Might not be right all the time though but usually turns out to be right as I've discovered in life.

In the first picture in the thread, are the wheels on the S-Class a Mercedes option or an aftermarket?

Then am I right in assuming that the S-Class in the picture is a direct import and NOT ordered through Mercedes India? Because these alloys are not shown in the Merc India brochure as an option

Sahil, there is a SL500 in Mumbai for sale asking is 50 lacs. But.
Its the famous AB car, flood affected, redone by Autohangar. A clean one for 48 is Impossible as yet, maybe a year later.

I'm spoiled by these maintenance packs that BMW offers. If merc gives one on a used SL for a 5 year all inclusive, warranty etc i'd jump on it.

I had no idea that these import depreciate so quick !

Scooby: Since you frequently buy and sell imported cars, I'm curious as to how you find out about these deals? Agents or direct sellers that you know?
