Its a VROD Screaming Eagle that I had imported for a dealer in Pune. Bike is one of the first ones to be imported on OGL after the government relaxed rules for import of Motorcyles above 800cc. Full duty of 9.15Lakhs was paid as well as fine penalty of 2 lakhs as bike was imported from Singapore( not country of manufacture). Total cost of bike without registration has worked out to 22 Lakhs. Can import all Japanese bikes as well. Duty is 98%.

Whoops! Thats a lotta money! Never quite like the Harley till I saw the V-Rod. There was a documentary on one of the channels on the making of the V-Rod. Just seeing the documentary wants you to own it - as much for the bike itself as for becoming the part of a legend.

I wonder how the Hareleys are going to be priced when they enter India.

thefreak. I saw that documentary too and fell in love with the V-Rod especially the screaming eagle destoryer. The 240mm rear tyre is one of the widest Harley has ever used. And that is the fastest drag bike in production.
