| ![]() Amazing pictures! What a turn out! Out of all those supercars that 348 still stands out. Superb! What all had the Poonawaalas got there? I can see their F430, mansory FS, Gallardo SE. And btw, didnt Mumbai's Astons turn up? |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() The event was amazing. Nowhere in India have I seen or heard of any event which has had such an impressive turn out of so many supercars. The drive was amazing too with all cars ripping at the turn of the green light. The SL65 was amongst the best sounding cars apart from the Poonawaala's 430. Although we reached late, we could see the cars ripping near Marine Drive and Charni road. It seems that the cars were released in batches and were racing each other. Marine Drive was a sight today, with vintage cars running alongside supercars. Have some pics but since all of them have already been covered, will post them later. We also had the "BOSS" Gallardo stoping over at Marine Drive to allow us do a small photoshoot. The guy who was driving it said his name was "Bathena" who used to race at Sholavaram and Juhu aerodome. The name does ring a bell, he owns a racing Honda 250, not sure which one. But a very kind man who stopped over on our request. Thanks Bathena! |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Lost for words !! Great event, although organization was a bit messed up. A big thanks to KBK for letting me ride with him in the phenomenal and unbelievable M3, and the experience of Ader's F430 and Karl's M3 tearing up the last few kms of the rally was just out of this world. What was frustrating was I stepped out with almost empty batteries and could not take too many pics. Anyway, I'm sure there will be many put up here. Followed it up with an F1 meet at Brew Bar @ Phoenix. What an entertaining race. Ended the day with team-bhp checking out the Nano at Croma. Some pictures : The day started off for us with this !! ![]() The F430 and arpandiv's Alto through Michael_schume's rear windshield : ![]() IMO the most beautiful car at the show : ![]() And finally team-bhp checking out the Nano ![]() L-R : V-16, flyingspur, Tejas, Dippy, Diesel_headrock ![]() Yup, the top-end Nano has Bluetooth ![]() ![]() And that's as tiny an exhaust as can get. V-16's hand. ![]() |

| ![]() Was a very exciting and tiring day today. Got fried in the heat and plus the event wasn't well organized. But a good day for all car lovers. Was in the rally in my friend's white M5 and we had a 911 Targa as well. The lunch was decent. Have clicked a few pics from the sunroof, will post them soon. The best pic I have is of GS's driver driving away the atom after the event, wearing his TOPI!! lol.. |

| ![]() Lovely lovely pics!! That Ferraru 348 looks GORGEOUS! I agree with someone who posted previously. The most beautiful Ferrari at the meet. The most beautiful car though is still the Lambo Gallardo. The shocker though is the Elise running Yoko S drives! Sheeesh!! Last edited by Nikhilb2008 : 5th April 2009 at 17:52. |

Hi, Were you referring to the ripping section that started near the Porsche showroom. Was watching the event from the Porsche showroom as had a whole bunch of small kids with me. Got to witness some real kickass action in between approx 10-12 cars which included the Ferrari's, Lambo's, Porsches, Masserati and of course a white EVO. Cars were all over the road with some coming from below the flyover and some from above all racing like crazy. Gemaballa came roaring like crazy from below the flyover chasing I think the yellow lambo when he had to slam the brakes in front of the Porsche showroom and his friend in the Evo almost rear ended him. Followed the cars on marine drive and again got to witness some racing between the spyder and the M3(we were parallel to you guys in a Innova from Bachelors onwards). This IMO was a experience that beat seeing the cars all parked as we got to see the cars ripping and doing what they were meant to. Did manage 1-2 small videos of them racing from my cell will put them up in a while. I think the car with the best exhaust note at low-medium revs was the spyder with the CF spoiler followed by the GT-R. Viper | |
