Aah...every time Karan says a little something on this thread, my suspicions that his next acquisition might be a GT-R are more confirmed. and I also have a gut feeling which tells me Karan will get his car here after it has been modded.

I am aware of the P800 Switzer GT-R but it makes around 700 bhp. NAGTROC does throw some light on the Transmission issues but according to Nissan, excessive use of the LC with the VDC turned off could lead to transmission failures. But according to the owner's manual, and a statement released by Nissan at a press conference earlier, the LC can be used any number of times with the VDC turned off. Court proceedings are still on about this issue. Oh, and Nissan are still working on tweaking the VDC and LC in the '10 models.

P.S. Everyone falters, one day or another.

It makes 742 AWHP on a dyno. Thats 800+ at the crank. Anyways, this isn't a Porsche vs Nissan thread and let's not make it one. I have owned a Porsche 911 and respect is a lot and I love the GTR as well.

Power at the Crank is different from the power put down on the road.

I haven't compared the GT-R to any Porsche anywhere in my earlier posts. But I have spoken about the GT-R and the Turbo separately.

Note from Team BHP Support:

While some amount of guessing is fine, this has now run into 4 pages of guessing & we cant allow more of guess work, so lets just wait for ecks to reveal his new car. In the meanwhile discussions on his current stable can go on, Thanks.

Here are a few pictures of the mods that I have done on the M3 and the LP640. The LP now sounds just like a zonda F. Don't believe me? Hear the audio clips this evening.

The M3 now has :

BBK 380mm all round
BBS CH-R's painted black and time attacked

The LP640 has :

Hamann Sport cats and SuperSound exhaust (making 670 HP on paper)

It looks nice, but somehow I preferred the old rims.

This reminds me too much of SSW alloys S093! I know, you can kill me when you meet me!

The old rims were 19"? What is the current size of the tyres?

Great pics Ecks.

I would've expected you to have got those rims in the first place! But don't you think they're a bit similar to your previous ones?

But the red on red does look good.

No offense taken Nikhil. I had to change the rims as the brakes won't fit on 19".

Very nice photos, the cars look amazing! That tyre-rim-brake combo looks meaty

Some tints would look great on the m3, you don't like tints?

The VMR's I had earlier were heavy and rip off's of HRE's (I admit that). These looks much better as they have a deeper concavity.

That makes sense.

Could you please tell me what size tyres you are running for the front and the rear? I'm pretty sure those are Pirellis Neros... correct?

BBS all the way! Congratulations! I expected BBS LMs as they suit the M3 the best, but CH-Rs are brilliant anyway! Lovely brakes and tires too! Tire size please?
