From what I've heard, the limiter has been removed from the 2010 GT-R. Correct me if I'm wrong, Karan

They come with exquisite exhaust manifolds that the aftermarket, so far atleast, has seen no need to improve upon and replace. And they're already turbocharged!!!

Please don't de-cat. Unless I'm mistaken, you've got high-flow/sports cats on your other cars, which is a really good thing that our kids will probably thank us for. Good call on that.

You may want to consider the BBS LMs for the car. I've seen pics of a couple of cars, and they're quite the shiite. If you do, I think your car will be the first one in India with aftermarket alloys.

Kinetik, you're talking about Race Tech. Very professional guys, and a lot of experience with high-performance cars.
Yes I am aware of the fact that they're turbocharged! And yes, de-cat wouldn't be a great idea, HFCs would do a better job and headers wouldn't need replacement as the factory ones are good enough (I mentioned all that in a general sense)

BBS LMs would be the best on the GT-R. I'd no clue that they would set it off like that!

P.S. Ecks,

What about the Dinan Stroker Mods and the Supercharger kit for the M3? I'd love to see one of those!

Congratulations on the GT-R! Nice choice of color and the matte finish will definitely make it stand out from the rest! I'm sure you'll make it one of the fastest cars in India. Keep us updated on the car as always.
Ecks, has your brother done any mods on the R8?

Supercharger kit is on my mind. Sometime in 2010.

No mods on the R8 but dymags and edo exhaust should be fitted soon.

EDO Competition exhausts and Dymags would set it off for sure! I've heard that the stock exhaust on the R8 isn't something to write home about so EDOs should change that! Dymags are great too! Also, do consider O.Z. Superleggera III! They're great too!

So what if you have posted them earlier? Is it a crime to post something that has already been posted?

Also, if you read his post carefully, he says, "A couple of more pics of the GTR.... ".

Hi, Nikhil.

By no means is it a crime, but it is an understood fact that when material has already been posted in the same thread, it need not be posted again. Also if you read my post carefully, I've said..

Anyway, I'm sure Karan's GT-R would be a stonker.

One question Karan:

- I'm not completely aware of this but the GT-R does have a limiter, doesn't it? Would it be possible to remove it? Could you shed some light on this please?

Suhaas, the GTR in Japan is limited to 112mph on the roads and as such the top speed is 193mph. But since I am getting the car from an England authorized dealer , there will be no 112mph limit, only the top speed limit of 193mph. Since I plan to mod the car extensively, starting from end of Jan, there will be no limiters. =)
