The best car driven by me was my grandfather's Standard Herald. Would love to trace it and own it. That was the first car I drove.

P.S. Extremely interesting thread. Didn't realize there was a contest going on. What's the prize?

I can now only dream of sitting in that car. Thank you for the words of appreciation. This is not a contest though.

correct me if i am wrong Autobhan has a one Gallardo as a cop car in blue..
I can't believe I didn't catch this comment before!

1) There is no car in the range of the SLs or such which is too "slow" for the autobahn! What it has become there are now too many damn minivans (MUVs like the Innova) on the road doing about 130-150 at max! That irritates the hell out of you. Especially when you've rented an M5 for the week (Dad was driving, I was 17 and didn't drive due to issues of legality) I swear it's kind of frustrating seeing them in the "fast" lane!

2) NO the blue Gallardo police car belongs to Italian Police Force. Donated by Lamborghini to the police force, I believe they now are running 1 Gallardo and 2 LP-560s. These cars are strictly for medical emergencies, for example reaching organs to hospitals or attending to victims of severe road accidents, or VIPs. So NO THEY CANNOT PULL YOU OVER FOR SPEEDING

I recommend you take along a international drivers licenses and a major credit card. This way you will be able to rent out some exotics.

I would say it is 2008 Ferrari F430SP, the car is amazing. The V8 roars ,the exhaust is like a tuned orchetra. There is no comparison. I own both SL55AMG as well as F430, they are two different cars. Like it is said "The Germans invented the cars, The americans are associated with production but the Italians put the soul and love in it".

Happy Motoring.

ok last night i get a call from my friend (owner of the cls 63 i mentioned) he told me to come to his hotel. I did and lo behold his 1 week old sl63 amg white.

I told him i was pissed at him for showing me the car so late, so he let me drive as compensation.

It was exhilerating. Even more so than the cls. The sound addictive. Have never driven the 55, but dont know how much better an sl can be

Agreed!! Very rare. How did I miss reading that? Especially when Nitro is a comman mans car its hard to imagine someone shall import it. Usually most of them import exotics.

Right here in Mumbai...This owner has a great collection, in fact I've driven around 50-60 of his cars, and still have a long way to go to have driven them all, however sadly most of them are repeats, like he owns 12 S classes (Current gen) A few more old gen S classes etc...so yeah.
They are builders and also own a "Gutkha" company which is quite famous! the SL63 is to pass his time till he musters up the courage to order the LP-560 (Later this month )
