there is a possibility that anil himself was driving the car and banged it. And while the reports were filed he got his driver and made him to accept charges to avoid unnecessary case's.
i know quite a few Rich folks who have done that.

It's a sad fact of life here that luxury and exotic cars meant to be owner driven and enjoyed are infact driven by cretins who pass themselves off as chauffers. What is the point of buying them?.Sometimes i feel that the Ambassador is the right car for this country, chauffer driven with a/c and whatnot.

I have seen the Gallardo driven around before, by the chauffuer, with his 2 kids in the front. No seat belt or anything for them! However, the driver was definitely driving cautiously when I saw the car.
Also, one point i would like to mention is that Anil Ambani would definitely be careful about who he hires as his drivers and I am sure that they have good experience as well as proper training. I am quite sure he cares about his safety.

And one more thing, most of the people who can afford to buy these cars, definitely drive them themselves (because they are auto enthusiasts otherwise they would buy an RR/Bentley/S Class etc), however, it is important to note that they are busy individuals (they better be to earn that kind of money), and it isnt surprising for them to let their driver drive these cars a few km, when they are unable to do so.

However, the same cannot be said about those who buy these cars as status symbols, and I would think A.A would fall into this set of people.

It is quite sad to hear about this, and I would like to know how the injured man is doing.

BTW, the reason this thread is here is because, unlike other cars which hit people, this is a Lamborghini, in India, and it was chauffeur driven!

huh? Cretins? Just because someone earns their living by driving others cars doesn't make them cretins. I don't think you would appreciate if Anil Ambani calls you a cretin because you can't afford a Gallardo or make million dollars a day, would you now?

Neither Lamborghini, which makes the exotic, nor Ambani who can afford the exotic, mind it when a driver drives it. Why do you care?

As per today's TOI, accident was not serious.

man who got hurt by car did not require hospitalization. Car was being driven carefully.

No men fault but still AA needs to shell out atleast a swift/santro cost for replacing the front mirror.

the idiot driver must have gone for a joy ride in his lambo.

he must have asked anil bhai when he must be busy in work.

anil : kya kaam hai?

driver: SAHIB gaadi chahiye. ghar ke kaam se jana padega.

anil : haan to le jao na. (on phone with mukhesh lolz)

driver: SAHIB peeli GADDI le jaoon.....(fingers crossed)

this needs to be in crashed exotics thread. We can't faff on every thread without reason or a shred of fact - but just on preconcieved notions!

PS: In a prev firm of mine, CEO's driver made 35k + overtime driving an S class in gurgaon. I'm sure ADAG groups' lambo driver earns more!
