Had spotted an expidition once at colaba on my way to cuff parade. Don remember the colour but it had consulate plates on it. It passed right next to me in one of the small lanes, my NHC looked like an RC car in front of it .

I have stayed at both bangalore and delhi and based on my personal experiance delhities traffic sense is very bad but bangalore takes the cake, it is just plain horrible, no comparison to that.

If the prices of the high end luxury cars were equal to those in other countries, we would be having more luxury cars than any other country

convert all the accords,camries,,to e-classes,

e-classes, 5 to s-classes- and 7
s-classes and 7 to bentleys and rolls.
and other sports cars too.

I hate the tax and duties on cars.

I completely agree with both your statements. You took words out of my mouth.

Yawn!
These are a regular sight for me. In fact, I once saw a Maserati and realized later that I didn't even give it a second look!
Some Stats:
My building, which has 8 families staying, happens to have 1 5series, 2 E classes, 1 S class! This is in addition to 3-4 Accords, 1 CR-V, 2 Endeavours etc.
In addition to this, some of the buildings I visit are filled with Mercs, BMWs, Audis etc.
If you were in Marine Drive/Pedder Road area in the night, you would have seen a lot of the new 750Li, X5s, Cayyenes, S Classes, etc.

BTW, if you notice, many pics have only C segment cars and above! No hatches, nothing!

....
I wish this was true. I think even reducing the tax from current 100/110% to say 50% will see a huge increase in imports.
