Must be coz i saw it parked at the VIP parking at the Red Bull F1 event at the Sea Link. It still had some Arabic numbers. Guessing it was Dubai. I think i read Dubai on the plates if im not mistaken.

What??!! And you believed it huh? Like a Hero Honda fitted with a Gold Wing kit!!

I dont know who owns it but someone told me it was owned by Khaled, of the "Didi-Didi" song fame. Wonder where he got that from. Maybe true, maybe not, im not sure. Im guessing its a consulate owned beast.

no he is not a singer at all. he is from kuwait and the car is from there as well. 2 times before he got the hummer with diamonds on rims and last year he got the blue escalade. this year he got this next year something else planned. hung out with him a few times, he is my friends cousin...

I saw one Hummer H2 probably a silver one with Kuwait number plates some years back. Its roof was torn apart by a tree which had bent down due to rains. This happened at Juhu 10th road. The driver did not notice that the tree had bend so much as it was night and while overtaking a car from left damaged the car.

in case anybody is wondering why so big engines (also have brakes and other accessories to match the power) are provided, these truck completely replace a regular truck by adding a trailer, much larger than our ashok leylands. I have seen one fully loaded running at around 60 mph on city roads and could only imagine the power and control needed to maneuver that much of load.

nothing to do with speed, although you can see how agile they are in extreme 4X4 competitions.

I think Excursion is dead, used to be bigger than the Expedition. With two doors at the back, it was kind of ridiculous. A friend used to carry his canoe on the roof. The 325+hp diesel trucks gave 20+mpg which was not too bad given its size.
Explorer - big, Expedition, - bigger, Excursion - crazy big.

Today morning spotted this giant first at BKC and then in Chembur @ Maitri Garden signal. The roar was kinda meek as compared to the giant size of the machine, the guy inside was a bloke.

This thing is MASSIVE. How does fit into the camera frame anyway?
I thought some kind of panoramic imagery would have been apt for a vehicle this size.
The Swift(in front) and the Accent (behind) look puny... And the Santro looks likes its hidind behind the chevy...

Since you mentioned it, I walked up to the car, took out my cellphone and then realized I would have to take a couple of steps back to get the damn thing within the frame
