BMW 760Li & X5 4.8i ordered EDIT - Now its Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed

Hey guys , ordered the new 760Li and the x5 4.8i today . The 760li would be the first new gen 760 in india and should be here by november second week.
The x5 also would be here on the same date as the 7.
The cars were ordered in a rush and thanks to bird automotive got a production model on such a short notice and thus i was able to spec up the cars . Both the 7 and the x5 would be brought here by air as the cars are required by november 15 .
Sadly though wanted to order the M package for the 760 but it would be available from december so would be going in for that later on but the x5 has been ordered with the M sports package which includes an M steering wheel , 19'' M alloys , M body kit .

nice selection ecks , november is a nice time for us then lol.... but yes sadly i cant order any sports car / coupes as there is a bit of a practicality issue at my house so yes got my hands on the powerful 4 door stuff

Did you consider the new face lifted S-class at all or even the X6?

Congratulations Accord_masters. They are both great cars. I have driven my friends X5 4.8i and it is a monster. The 760li is the best of both worlds and according to me a refined monster.
Sorry to crash your party but yours would be second or the third depending on which one arrives first. There is a blue 760li in Bombay and another black one has been ordered by someone i know.

What is the colour and wheel option, that you have chosen for the car?

@hanmust - the 760li has been ordered in mineral white and the x5 in ttianium silver.

@sahil - Did consider the x6 but i wanted an suv that could seat 5 people so thats why had to go in for the x5 . Thinking about the changing the name

@ abhinav - the cars are fully loaded ... ticked everything i could see on the options list except the heated steering wheel , ski bag kind of stuff.. . The x5 has been ordered with the sports seats black interiors , leather dash , panoramic roof , 19'' m sport rims , m sport package and the other simple options .

Congratulations! So are you selling the 2 S classes' now? Also what did you think of the other options in this bracket like the Panamera/S600/Bentley FS?? Not that this is'nt another excellent car. The 760li is a great machine. Was it delivery timing or seating capacity or something else?

I just hope youre not going to waste the V12 power at the hands of a chaffeur! i know many people with S500s and 760lis who make the same mistake..

Congrats AM! There's a dark blue 760 in Jalandhar too. Still on temp no. plates. But not sure if it's diesel or petrol.

@ - Got no plans to sell the the S00 or the S350 . Did consider the Panamera turbo but frankly saying my dad didn't like it

and NO!! the car is not going to be chaffeur driven ... my brother will be driving it . The reason for the 760 is not the waiting period or the availability but as i said its a driver car and its going to be self driven plus we ( me n my bro) are BMW loyalists as you can see. We went to the (Bird automotive) BMW people last week and told them to arrange the two cars asap so instead of them just getting us already ready car which some one else would've spec'd in some part of the world ,they some how arranged the production vehicles besides the fact being that the production period available now for the dealers is jan 2010 .
