Are you sure the US spec came with one white and one yellow each? I think it was two white round lamps with one being slightly larger than the other(as in the pic). Also if you notice, the background of the headlamp, it shows a grey background. I believe the original spec was a white (as in crystal) background. This headlamp somehow doesn't seem original to me.

hi friend this particular car owned by an doc has two of them both of them imported by himself from us

It's that grey background on the headlight that got me thinking. Thanks for clarifying.

Hi there, I recently purchased a M-B 300D 1983 model with automatic gearbox. while the car is in excellent condition, the previous owner had misplaced the Owners Manual, so if anyone has a copy of the Owners Manual for this car, wd be most grateful for the same.

hi rex i can help you with an manuel because i have an 300d direct import single owner done 228500 km with duplicate keys manuel service book the cars PDI was done at patel auto all instruments and gadgets in working condition

hi cannonball sorry for meant gadgets guys would have been suprised if it was an 007 car correction i meant this headlight adjustment from the dashboard the speakers balancer from front to rear on the centre console

My friend has found a Merc 240D , 1984 Model, good condition. Asking price is 2 Lakhs. I am thinking is that too much or too less

drats!!!!!

just came back from a wedding, to find that someone had whacked the 300D monogram on the dicky.. car was parked in front of our building on the road, and was planning to park it in when i came back. :((. any place where i can source a replacement?
