Parts are real cheap. So Speedy do you really own the Andheri Land or just manage it ?

Some more info about you would be helpful too.

Now a question. Can I fit Folding Mirrors on my W124 ? I am sick of people touching them.

I would like to advice you to be careful when you take out the car for the First time after getting the Brake Work done. I have personal bad experience of bleeding not being done properly.

I think GTO answered that for you, but i guess you did not follow. A landlord does not manage a place, he owns it. So to make things simpler for you the Andheri land belongs to My FAMILY and Autohanger are my tenents.

The parts being cheap or expensive does not arise as i am concerned with getting the car back in top order at any cost. So if something is not available here, then i just ordered it from any other country it is available in.

Irrelevant on a public forum.

Change the side mirror housing to the newer ones and you have solved your problem.

This is not my first car that is being worked on. We have been restoreing cars since 94 when i was 18 or so, but thank you for your advice . If my car has any issue there surely would be heads rolling. The first run shall be to worli and then the expressway.

Wow. It is just so stately. Amazing.

Great taste in cars you have.

As i have probably mentioned earlier, this is one of my all time favourites.

I remember the w140 S500s when i was a primary schooler.

The length of that hood is to die for. Looks like a small layer of dust has gathered during the garage rest. Can't wait to see her back in action!

Count on that for sure. Expressway would not happen without you in the car . We might have another V12 as company.

, if you were there the other Mercedes look small compared to her. The more i see a w220 or a w221 aound her i cant help thinking off what Mercedes was thinking when they changed the W140.

V12 does that too you . Yes towards the roof. That is a tape that was stuck on by the previous owners driver during the monsoon so that water does not seep in (guess he was not used to the Mercedes and thought the rubbers were like some old cars). That is where the dust has caught on. I shall haveit pulled out when i get the car polished. So am i...so am i.

Yes sir they are. The whole brake assembly is being replaced with a new one. I cannot and do not want to take any risk with the brakes .

Thank you DJANGO. Not that deep a pocket but i manage . Did look out for a good clean SL55 AMG but some were not clean and others over my budget. Next would be another V12 but not from the Mercedes stable. Got an overdose of Mercedes for now .
