Fantastic choice, Dante. I have driven a cayman s and I have to say it handles way better than the 911. Drive safe

@Dante: Mate, have you specified any of the chassis options, such as limited slip diff, PASM, PCCB, Sport Chrono Package etc etc?

Thanks Dante for the offer. I would not have invited anyone

Hey you asked for sports bucket seats, didn't you?

Caution: About the sound system upgrade, talk to Porsche as they are strict with warranties if electrical are touched.

Also is it not a good idea to get new tires and black-alloys for your brisk rides and normals for the daily drive. I am not too fond of black paint work on alloys. My recommendation, do not mess with the originals. However, if you do go in for the paint job, do let us know the details and the maintenance part.

@Sahil: You have got the work done, do let us in on your view of the paint job and the quality and maintenance part.

@Turbojc: I thought they made LSD standard now. Initially it was not even an option. He did not get any, as he wont track the car.

Cheers!

Even I had asked the same thing. But if you think about it, these options are not really required. The standard brakes are good enough and one would go in for PCCBs only if they're looking to shave off their track times. Same goes for the Sport Chrono Package! The PASM in it's stiffest setting is too hard for almost any road, let alone Indian roads!

No need. Sport mode and LSD are mainly for track and we don't have a track nearby.

Thank you.

@ Sn1p3r. I don't think i'll upgrade the amp because the engine sound is so good, i won't ever tune to radio.
I will order buckets, the showroom guys are getting status of it.

Here are the first batch of pics. Will upload on road running pic of my car soon.

I'll let the picture do the talking. I did not choose a color that was very different from the original, just wanted a bright/hyper silver finish to replace the dull silver it had. But you'll get a fair idea of the job quality. There is no sign of paint chipping or dullness over the past months.

@Sahil: Nice work. This gives me confidence.

@Dante: Awesome, the car is lovely, nostalgia is the right word right now.

Nice alloys; is it me or the alloy has some aberration?

Take care.

Dante,

She looks beautiful!

Congratulations. I see all the formalities have been finished so far . One question though. Why beige interiors?
