Hey all! Over the last week, I spotted quite a few sweet rides, mostly in and around the Avinashi Road area:

1. A beautiful white 2016 Jaguar XF-R
2. 2 x 2016 Range Rover Sport
3. 2 x Range Rover Vogue
4. 2 x Porsche Cayenne
5. A superb blue Audi S4
6. Multiple Mini Coopers
7. Countless new Volvo XC90s. God they look gorgeous! Most were in white, but there was one in bright yellow !

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures, as I spotted all of them whilst driving.

Oh, and I've been wondering, do any Italian exotics reside in Coimbatore?

I've been told by a local supercar garage owner/detailer there that the Lakshmi Mills family owns a pre-LP 560 gen Lamborghini Gallardo in yellow. Never seen the car or its pictures though.
However, I'm aware of a few 911s there. A couple Carrera S, one of which again reportedly belongs to Lakshmi Mills and a 997 Mark I turbo as well.

Even I have heard about a pre-LP Gallardo that has been spotted a couple of times in Coimbatore and Tirupur. Could be the same car.

I am not able to recall but the ex-Kolkata yellow Murcielago was also sold to someone in Coimbatore, right? Or was it Mysore?

It should be the same car buddy. No pictures yet though. Also, there's a Cayenne S and a Ghibli in Tirupur.

That Murcie is in Mysore.

not sure if the orange M5 was a 2007 model. Was busy chatting up with my friend about his new S cross with my back to the road .
By the time I turned the car was at a signal 50 m away. All I could see was the 4 exhaust pipe and orange. Did not notice the tail lamp nor I had a close look. Anyone who knows the details are welcome.

I spotted a Sakhir Orange F10 M5 on Avinashi Road a few weeks ago. Could that be the one you saw?

Is the other one a white F10 a legit M5? Remember seeing one but unsure if it's a legit M5 or not. Belongs to some sugar mills guys I was told.

Also, are you sure about this being a legit M5? Going by the RaceDynamics stickers, I guess this is a normal F10 since they specialise in tuning diesel cars. And the wing mirrors too look like that of a 520/530d. Pretty sure the M5 has smaller wing mirrors. But again, there's only that much one can figure out from that image. I may be completely wrong too.

Funny you asked, because I too had a modicum of suspicion that it wasn't legit. It had all the markers of an F10 M5, the front fenders, the wheels, the bumpers, the quad-exhausts, et al, but it 'wafted' past me! I had my window down, but as much as I strained my ears, I couldn't hear the typical bassy thrum one would hear from a large V8 at low revs.

Granted, it was being driven quite slowly in moderate traffic. I thought, well, maybe I couldn't hear it because of all the noise around me, but now since you questioned its legitimacy, I too have my doubts .

EDIT: I just found this clip of an M5 revving I had shot a couple of years ago. I recall the one I saw here in CBE sounded nothing like this.
