Just as I reached the HDIL towers for getting some snaps of the new XJ, it left with the police convoy!

Could manage just two pics today. But surely gonna get better pictures later as this will be his daily office car now

Great presence and it all depends on the mood, most of the time it is the Turbo that does the runs.
I also have a request please do blank out the number plates and do not mention addresses. I am sure you are aware of the rules, thank you.

Hotel Taj also has a Black XJ saw it along with their XF's heading back from the airport.

Oops...I'm really sorry for that. In a hurry for posting the pics, I forgot to blank out the small part of the number plate that was visible. Mods plz do the needful.

Yes the new one. It must have just come cause the driver seemed very careful and nervous behind the wheel. They used to have two old XJ's and then only one is still seen doing the airport rounds now.

OT-Is this Panamera T Gray in colour. I have seen this parked in the Breach Candy hospital many a times. Always wanted to take pics but was too lazy.

Is it just me or does the XJ look terribly under-tyred?

And initially, I felt that the rear (aft the b-pillar) didn't merge well with the rest of the car; especially when you look at it from the rear-three-quarter angle. It grew on me though! And I must say, it's one helluva looker! Very handsome! A stretch Jaguar XF if you will!

they definitely need an escort to drive in our cities

I request all of you petrolheads to contribute so I can buy one of these after selling my 4 year old honda unicorn......
earlier I was thinking of going for the S class now I have definitely zeroed on the Jag

come to think of it
the parent company also makes Indica's

Finally saw the Jag up close It's incredibly beautiful!! The C-pillar reminded me of the Citroen C6.
The last pic shows a hint of similarity between the headlamps of the XJ and the tail-lamps of the Q5. I mean the shape of the lights. Anyone else thinks so?

Gorgeous pics there dude. The XJ L looks bespoke in black and yes, the rear quarter does look very similar to the C6(which also is rumored to show up in India. Hence, a let down). Think they have a thing for big engined black cars, do they have any other colored cars ?(I think they had a Rosso Corsa F430, other than that?)

The front looks very good. But overall, I still prefer the S Class.

Excellent photos theragingbull!

The XJ reeks of class and elegance, literally! And doesn't it look oh-so-gangster in the first two pictures? Now if a car has that combination, I'm sold! As far as I'm concerned, Mercedes and BMW are in quite a lot of trouble! Come on Mr. Ratan Tata, widen the Jaguar dealership circle ASAP!
