Porsche Panamera on Mumbai roads!

Wow! So many Porsche Panameras! I guess this will achieve even better sales than the Cayenne ever did. Great pics @ariesonu!
Interestingly, all are Panamera 4.

So in all, I can spot 4 Panameras, 4 Cayennes, 2 Caymans, 2 Carreras! And a hideous looking BMW

The new Panamera's have a different tail pipe layout as compared to what we have seen in the earlier pictures?

The new ones are Panamera 4's while the earlier ones are 4S's, hence the difference.

Saw the Panamera today at Andheri. Looked awesome to say the least. The twin exhausts, the curvy body and the road presence kind of justify the high selling price of the car.

The police jeep had a tough time keeping up with the Panamera Turbo! I guess it belongs to the same W16 guys.

Chandigarh Registered Panamera !
Where did you spot this anyways ?

And the reason behind all these luxury cars being chandigarh registered is that chandigarh's licensing is 9.5% cheaper than the rest of India.. !

Even I have seen the same Panamera on a Luxury Car Dealer's Facebook Profile. Isn't the colour called Yatching Blue Metallic ? Asking rate seems to be around 1.1 Cr.

How can the color be called a " Jet GREEN Metallic " when it is clearly BLUE !
Even a colorblind person can differentiate between blue and green :P

The other day I was at the Grand Hyatt for Lakme fashion week when I saw a White Panamera outside.
Must say, it looks really good in flesh.
But the car didn't have a proper number-plate. A white paper was stuck with cellotape and the number was written on it with a pen.
But I am damn sure that it is a permanent registration because it was MH 01 AX __ , that is the series which was/is going on very recently.
Sorry no pics though.

I beg to differ. Some ugly cars grow on you, some simply dont. The Panamera is part of the latter group. I caught one on the road last week and my lips automatically let our a silent YUCK. Don't get me wrong. There are some great looking luxo-barges out there (the 7, A8 and the XJ come to mind). And Porsche - traditionally a maker of great looking cars - could definitely have done a better job with the Panamera, if they didn't try so hard to make it look like a 2-door Porsche from front / back.

Still gets a thumbs down from me.
