This Rapide made an appearance at his party. Incidentally it had his favorite digits as well, but i think it belongs to someone else as i've seen it before in town.

That's what i thought it could have been too, but was waiting for akshay1234 to confirm.

However, here's what the ACI article says:
Quote:
For more formal occasions Sachin has a BMW 7-Series in his garage. Not just any Seven but the 760 Li. And not just any 760 Li but one with the Sachin Tendulkar logo, designed around a cricket ball, monogramed on the headrests and door sills.

Buddy 3 people we know were at his house. One of them told me he saw a face lifted 7 series, which was a 760li. He says it did not have the Steinway logo, but had some other ST all over. Now frankly it does not make a difference to me, but Autocar has printed it (probably after some talking to the BMW PR team since the article mainly seems to mention BMWs) and it was seen in his basement. I don't understand why you still don't believe it.

Why don't you follow the same policy for the 7 series then too

At his place and didn't see the 7 then. Facelifted or not but i know he has the 7. Maybe BMW did replace his car as they did for the M and X5.

Look behind Sachin's head. What appears to be hair could actually be the logo.

Still not sure? Look behind the front passenger's head - that looks like the "S" part of the logo.

Re: Cricket Stars and their cars

@rubicon - thanks a lot dude! That really helped. I did a reverse Google search and figured out it appeared in the TOI November 10th edition.

Here's the better quality PDF version with the image - TOIM_2013_11_10_21.pdf

It is 'S' and 't' alongside right? Or did you mean a capital T?

The site below shows the logo as it appears on the merchandise. http://www.thisisopus.com/sachin-tendulkar

The logo is probably designed to take the shape of the cricket ball with the central portion resembling the seam stitches.
