Checked out the Toyota RAV4!

Spotted this car some time ago ...here's the RAV 4 ... Consulate car though
At close $21,000(Approx 10L's) seems like a good contender instead of the Prado for the Indian Shores

The RAV4 is a good compact SUV in it's own right, but it's not as good as the Prado or the full size LC Amazon/LX470.As for the price,it's sure to be in the range of 12-15L if imported by TKM.Anyway, the Fortuner is slated for launch here in the near future. It's said to be more tougher and cheaper than all the aforementioned cars, being built on the same platform as the Innova.

The Innova chasis/suspension is for a MUV and not a SUV , so they are different classes so the fortuner cannot be played around as much as a thorough bred SUV. Rav4 is a Very strurdy vehicle in its class of small SUV's
They should bring it in to compete with the other suvs in its class.

HI guys, as promised this is the pic i have taken from my balcony (5th floor), the car was pretty far and the camera was at maximum zoom, so please excuse me for the inferior quality of the pic.
