Yamaha YZF R1 ( with vid)

Well, this has been my all time dream bike. I have collected many pics of R1's for a few years now and finally I got to realise my dream!!!!! I sat on her!!!!

And thats not all, she was started up and I got to blip the throttle a few times!!! I never dreamt I would do this some day.
She's an '03 model and was up for sale. Will only be there for a few days, so I grabbed my chance cos Im going out of town today.
Ok enough talking now for the pics.....

My friend on the bike. He's the one who told me about it being there in the shop. Thanx man!!

There is a bigger video of my freind and I blipping the throttle a few times, but it is a little too big ( Ive also got vids of another man really giving it some nice blipping!!!), so Ive got this small video. I gives you an idea how much fun it was!!!!

Its says SP-1. So it could be none other than the Honda VTR-SP1. A V-twin 1000 cc Honda.

Thanx guys, it really was awesome feeling a beast like that responding to a twist of my hand. Amazing feeling of being, just for a few seconds, in control of a wild animal. What a noise!!!!

Asking price was around 7 lakhs I think, not sure..... I'm just back from outta town, I left the same day I saw her, so I'll be finding out soon what happened to her.

Dude, this place is called CBX racing(royapettah) and the owner is purely MONEY-MINDED!!
Not recommended.

For pure passion, try getting hold of Raja-Raju brothers in Chennai.
They're the best who do it for the sport and its always their work which speak for them.

I know Awaiz and Shoukath from the time I was in chennai. They did a good job with my RX100 long time back. But screwed up my Ambition once. Wheres Raju brothers?
