I like that!

That's a pretty nifty trick! When in FWD mode, does the limited slip diff up front help countering all that torque steer, with massive amounts of power driving just the front wheels?

320kmph is insane! Don't even try, unless its a deserted airstrip! But you must have redlined it,with the revs bouncing off the rev limiter, just for the sheer carnal pleasure of it!
I had to remove the front apron due to G.clearance.

Well in FWD its like a Golf GTi. Very balanced chasis. moreover i hardly use FWD to incur Torque steer. The last time i used FWD, i was hunting for a gas station on the highway. It consumes less i believe.

GTR are not great doing high speed. it can but corners is where it comes alive.
The first time you do a wet lap and realize you took the last chicane at 160 kmph is mind blowing.
It brings out the most primeval twitch on your spine all the way to your pants!!!

Awesome Skymac! I live in Chennai too but never had a chance to see the GT-R. I'm a huge huge fan of the GT-R. What a machine man. Why dont you let me know the next time you take it to the track? I will be there to cheer up the Sky

Wow. Looks mean, and I am myself a big GTR fan.

By they, is it just me or does the car seem a bit unclean or quite dusty

You're right. I did blow two turbos on the old engine.
Blame it on Chennai fuel and heat.
It takes more to brake a RB26.

PS: Anyone tuning more than 400BHP on any damn engine don't spent on power, spend a lot on cooling products. that's the main issue in India.
My Busa seized cuz of not enough cooling. The R1 is on low temp sensor (99 instead of 108) on the radiator fan.

and make sure ur Octane booster is not more than 45 days old from date of manufacture.
Again heat in our country causes the injectors to suffocate cuz of the RON boosters.

Its more usable power now unlike the OE.

All the stories on the net about other 700+ HP GTRs is done on the N1 block cuz of its strength.

HI, was the blowing up of turbos because of the heat?

Anyways, nice pointers there from you and an awesome ride. Have heard her and she does sound sweet

Ya the vehicle is Chennai regd. and FYI i don't use the ECR.
Its too dangerous with FWDs & SUVs doing 200.

The turbo packed up cuz of oil heat. It wasn't cool enough to cool down the turbo. kaput!
One blew on the track and the other while tuning.

NOw from previous experience i am now running enough oil coolers to keep a Nuclear reactor cool !

Driving is a hoot nowadays, specially on the dual carriageway.
which other country can you do 200kmph past a cop vehicle and break at the next corner for cow which has equal priority of the road as the GTR.

I know about GS's cars and know well about this car too. That's why I mentioned that.

Re: Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R V Spec - in Chennai!

Does anyone know where this car is now located? Also can we have a list of consolidated cars in India in the R33 shape? I’m sure the mods will know.
