Sweet new look on the car with the white and the wheels look sick too.

Any further performance modifications planned?

That is absolutely stunning! The white shade is beautiful and the wheels are gorgeous!
Do you have any figures? 0-100, 0-160 etc.? Would love to know!

The power and torque figures are awesome.

The car looks absolutely gorgeous. Love the alloys, the satin wrap and painted calipers.

Is the paint job on the car satin or pearlescent?

Gemballa, nothing personal but changing the color or overcoating an already great & intact finished relatively new car may not be wise in India for that matter anywhere else. No matter how it looks now, it will always be a repainted E55 to me that is sad as a perfectly nice original sleeper car has been punked up or made to look more mafia soldier car than TOP boss yakuza or classy look. Anyway way its yours so best of luck. I for one was fairly disappointed to see another good intact car get re-painted for no rhyme or reason other than perhaps boredom or a whim which is what this seems cheers

Congratulations. The job on the car is indeed absolutely sick as heck.

If you can find the time, please post a walkaround video of some sort. I know ever since Insideman's run-in with the police that's a bad idea but pretty please.

P.S. Hope, correction, pray that Insideman brings his YouTube channel back online, perhaps with a video of his M(ental)3 and your E(normous)55

It's a Wrap in Satin White.

Not a Paint Job.

Oh is that so, well i could not see the same mentioned anywhere, although the thought did cross my mind! Does the paint remain the same after you peel off a wrap or vinyl etc? I suppose one has to painstakingly clean the gue off and risk damaging paint, not to mention edges and crannies, i suppose some saving grace instead of painting it. Still semi stripping it to put vinyl in my book is again fiddling with an intact car leading to reassembly, an art few in the world are really good at and have the real patience to do in a factory kinda way, well to each his own.

Yes. Saw the Pics on DAD's FB Page, they don't Paint, they just Wrap.

Probably. Vinyl doesn't Damage the Paint. Glue would Stick to Vinyl, Not the Car.

True. Semi-Stripping the Car. Outside the Factory. Bad Idea. Not Gonna Happen To Mine.

Vinyl wrapping is less laborious than painting a car and the finish achieved is as good as if not better.... And the wrap being a different material protects the paint from chipping, minor scratches etc.

As for your concern about stripping down and re-assembling cars outside the factory or workshop, Mumbai like the rest of India has come a long way in terms of specialist shops who provide the services and are as good as most international workshops as well...

When taking off the wrap, if required the paint remains unscratched as there are special scalpels and non-sharp tools to ensure that surface scratches don't occur. People all over the world do it for Gumball 3000, so why not do it to give your car a fresh new look?

The car is not repainted it is only a wrap which can be removed and taken back to my original paintwork no problem. Even the rims are wrapped so there is no question of any original work being damaged. Also when the car is wrapped it does not involve stripping it down like it is when the car gets painted. That is why I have chosen the wrap route. I myself would not do a paint job in India as putting the car back together is definitely an issue. I assure you the work done on both q and e are fantastic and I can't fault it . As far as a sleeper, mafia, yakuza or whatever gang you are referring to does not apply in this case as I belong to no such institution and am not trying to portray any such image. To refer to the car as being 'punked' up well I think it looks amazing and who ever has seen it feels the same so if punk is the look then that's what I'm going for. And yes it was a whim that made me do it. In fact it is people with whims who personalise tune and individualise cars which most people appreciate. If there was no whims there would be no aftermarket industry. And what about the engine is it ruined cause its 650hp or is that ok??
