Amazing pics Maxbhp.
I sat in the car again recently and the car is CRAMPED.
Its almost impossible for 2 6 - footers to sit comfortable behind each other.
Cheers

It is cramped in the back for sure , but the more irritating thing is the high waist line of the car , so high that the window are for the rear passenger seat is simply too small. I felt a bit claustrophobic, any way those werent rim damages , its just some kind od grease on it . Tyres where almost brand new ...it was running on 245/40 ZR18 . It had 260 in the speedo , why does it need a Z rated tyre ?

Hanmust,
the CLS, may be a drivers car but the whole idea of having a 4 seater coupe is so that you can carry 4 passengers.
Whats the point of providing thouse extra 2 doors and seats when the car is so cramped that 4 people cannot sit comfortably?

Something like Rapide , I thing Quattraporte has more rear space...atleat the waist line is not so high...But I gotta say onething , it looks amazing in flesh...looks like a puma ready to leap....great ...err...not great...awesome presence.

Quattraporte is a full size luxury sedan & CLS is just a coupe with 4 doors. Merc provided the 4 doors only for easy entry & exit. Even then the rear seat is comfortable than the regular coupes..

Spotted this beauty yesterday while going to Chandigarh! As usual my son could not resist himself to stay away from the car. He was hell bent to pose alongside it..

Coz it is in that profile that the car looks the best
