Does anyone know if there is Porsche 996 in Hyderabad that has Boxster written on its back in place of carrera? I have seen one in 2000 - 01 and it had boxster written on its back but was a hard top!!

it could be a a boxter with a removable hard roof... I can't understand why sum1 would put boxter on a carrera apart for duty reasons. But why keep like that once the car is cleared???

errr... I didn't know that Boxster comes with a removable hard top. Never saw one. But it makes sense to have a removable hard top in india rather than a soft top.

i think you might be talking about another 911 with 20" techart alloys..... the guy who owns that 911 is a maniac he ruins his 911 every second day an its the same case with his cayenne turbo and his cayman s ........
Also i had seen a porsche cayman s {grey} being tuned by a german guy ... he was installing a ruf kit on the car and now the car is tuned to 400+bhp.!!!!!!

nope... i'm talking about this grey car you have posted pics of. the guy with the 20inch techart wheels does have a cayenne but no cayman. The other 400hp Cayman you are talking about belongs to Vikram Oberoi as i was told very recently as there are two tuned porsches in delhi now. i have just rdered the tpc kit for my car as my old kit was causing me some problems. should be here is in about a mnth.
Anyway, when i saw this gry car at porsche... the car had been hit from the front. interior full of rips and generally you cold tell the car had been rocked!

i got to know from the porsche guy only that the guy with the black cayenne turbo ( sahil dhingra) recently got a cayman s and yeah since vikram oberoi lives in my neighbourhood i see the car pretty often...... man it is loud. !!...he rips the car everyday and uses it as his daily driver......
and liv2drv ..... put up some pics of your 911 ....... waiting for dem....

@V10 -
The Blue 911 used to belong to a relative of mine and he recently sold it off. I had sat in the car when they had just bought it and it's amazing!
Here's the thread on it.

Those are some sweet rims.

I wonder why Porsche is so late in switching over to LED brake lamps, they did give the Cayanne LED rear lamps with the facelift which has made the rear look alooot better imo. The brake lamps make the 911 look date and dont really fit in imo, LEDs would add alooot more to this car.
