@nikibusa - as far as i know, the driver isn't allowed to drive the 458 as yet.

Thanks for the info Rehaan. Damn. Finally I have added another exhaust video from a exotic from India. But somehow the 458 is not as great sounding as the F430, Modena, Enzo or the 355.

Those are some really amazing pics! So many controls on the steering wheel....right from the indicators, lights and wipers to the Manettino! How confusing would that be when you're turning

I love the location of the indicators, high-beam switch and horn-pads on the steering wheel!

I have waited so long for some "made for india" type car to implement a much easier to reach horn, and other controls, but alas, it had to be Ferrari that did it! Shows how stagnant everyone elses interior design is when they think that relocating an instrument cluster or AC vent is being innovative and new!

The aim of the 458's steering wheel design is access to everything without ever having to take your hands off the wheel! Love the importance of the Tacho too...

PS - Also note the suspension button that softens the suspension when you're on a bumpy road.

Today At The Press Conference, Mr.gautam Singhania Announced That Ferrari Italia 458 Along With Many Other Super Cars Will Be Their At The Super Car Club Event2011 On 23rd Jan Sunday At The Vidhan Bhavan Parking Lot,nariman Point.

No sir this is the only red 458 for now. I heard one is ordered but not delivered. This is the same practice used when Porsche did not have a showroom. There was one car used as display and taken to prospective clients to show them.

Yes sir i know of two cars that have been ordered and owners await their deliveries. As for the FF i dont think it would be that popular and with a 5cr price tag attached to it, dont think she will be that popular over the 599 gtb.

Nice catch speedy. I know a friends friend here in ahmedabad who has booked a red 458 and the delivery is due for in April 2011. The 458 gonna share garage with a black 911, silver rangie and a few others.

Nice pic there speedy. The F430 by far was the biggest hit in terms of a Ferrari in India with quite a few of them scattered across the country. Now with Ferrari officially coming in, I'm expecting this land to run amok with F458s. Lots of them expected to be coming in and I wont be surprised to see them overtake the F430 figure quickly.

It will be interesting to see what service is provided to existing Ferrari owners.

A little insight, I am in touch with the Ferrari Indian team and believe me they are here to really make a mark, the follow up, the people co ordinating the sales are real nice, I have from others heard bad stories about Porsche but without personal experience I am no one to comment but from what I see things look really good and looks like Ferrari is in great hands.

Will update more on the matters with time.
