Rapide Photos

Last week I saw the Rapide in Manchester. I am posting few photographs for the forum

Rapide from front

Big central divider in rear makes very cramped interior.

Boot opens into cabin. Only the rear headrests fold flat to level with the boot floor. The rear seats are sat very low

The Rapide looks stunning. Like a DB9 that has been stretched out a bit at both ends, but in a good way. Stunning interiors, too, albeit a bit cramped.

One thing is sure Yeti is not going to fit in the rear!
That must be the sportiest rear seats ever in a car.

Just when you think it is not possible for Aston's to look any better they go ahead and come up with something more beautiful!

This car looks absolutely fantastic

[quote=VR/46_Chet;2058738]You serious dude ? Well then why is it raining Jaguars in Mumbai and other cities ?

As a brand its new in India. But looking at in terms of ratios/percentages of sales its not. The after sales service is also infamous which is spoiling desires of prospect/future buyers. With BMW the case is slightly better but not something really to be proud about when you compare statistics of other brands. Many times we notice a car that is rarer so we feel oh there are so many. Wheras when we see a car that is old to the eye we do not give it priority in memory,

Stunning trophy. Good to look at but back seats are a big compromise for any use. Might as well get a DB9 instead except if I want to flash I have the latest.

Rapide is a million times stylish than any Porsche though except for the central switch panel in the Panamera and its engine IF tuned by 9ff. Hope the Lamborghini Estoque comes out soon.

AMG: Hope you have seen my thread on Jaguar XF, if not then please see it

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/intern...ml#post2062801

I found the Rapide as an impractical car due to its cramped interiors. What is the use of giving 4 seats when passengers in the rear seats cant be comfortable. It is best as a 'show off' car for showing off in clubs and golf courses. And as somebody remarked earlier that imagine some people may use a chauffeur in India for their Rapide.

At 1,40,000 pounds, it is a expensive proposition. As you rightly said, DB9 or other models in Aston range are much better propositions for enjoying an Aston Martin

Very nice pics there akj53. The rear door looks sexy!

As Kbk rightly said, astons are sex on wheels! It looks magnificent.

Had a talk with a guy from Infinity today. He said that the new showroom is opening up at Kemps Corner. The first slot of cars will arrive by november and will be delivered immediately.

Re: ASTON MARTIN to come to India

Just thought id bump back this thread instead of creating a new one & since i couldnt find any other relevant thread.

The Aston Martin showroom is to open at Kemps Corner (Mumbai) this month.

Saw a white aston coupe on a flatbed being transported at worli. No doubt that it was probably headed for the showroom. Heres a phonecam pic:

Aston Martin showroom opens on the 15th of this month. At Worli they have a delivery center that can house 2 cars and at Kemps corner is the showroom. This car was headed to the Showroom itself.
