@greenhorn- Nice catch of the R8. But the Outlander looks totally out of place in the supercar thread.

nah, it was only after posting that i realized that it was a fortuner league SUV. I thought it was in the 30L+ region. Apologies !

yes the ferrari was a reference to an earlier post.

There is a good hunting to be had at fortune towers, but i dont want to shoot cars that are not on private property, and I'm on the road only rarely.

(In fact all i need is a telephoto lens and to climb two floors to start clicking away at the fortune towers parking lot

Had seen Porsche Cayenne, Merc SL *** (could not figure out) , couple of Beetles and superbikes during my visit in December'10.

@greenhorn - Sorry for the late response. But it was indeed a ferrari convertible- with black hood that I had seen at Rajmahal Chowk some time back. By the way, I am in Bhubaneswar next week, any chances of catching up with you moto enthusiasts ? Do we have a forum in BBSR

Hope a small meet happens.

Also, though I have no pics, a school friend of mine has a small collection of imports.
1. MB S500,
2. MB CLS (dont remember whether it was the 350 or the 500)
3. Suzuki Hayabusa
4. Harley Davidson V-Rod

Other than that among other cars that I have spotted in Bhubaneswar are one silver M5 and one red Ferrari California, both Orissa registered.

I saw the same R8, a cayenne and an Audi A3 parked at the cafe coffee day in front xaviers the other day. Didn't have my camera so couldn't click any.

A friend told that he spotted a OR registered yellow Ferrari 360 Spider in Bhubaneshwar. Probably spiderman's ex-car has been re-registered in OR.

Not likely. Because in Orissa, even with re-registration old numbers are allowed to be continued, no new number need to be allotted. Unless the car has actually run through its first 15year registration period, no-new number is allotted to out of state cars getting registered in Orissa.
