Difficult to believe? Never say that. This city can spring some really surprising surprises.
On a serious note, I'll try to find out details about this car. I don't know how I missed this one.

The red color car you saw at the prabhadevi petrol pump is the Hemi Cuda 1970. not too sure of the year. I think the Cuda's were V8, 7 litre and put out around 400hp if im not mistaken.

Yes you are right and the car belongs to the same person who ran the green corvette at the speed run.

Well i wouldnt say that. I have seen a Dodge Charger and a few other American Muscle cars, fullly restored to their original condition here in Mumbai, all at the same time, same place ....... in one huge ( if i may call it) Garage. the cars belongs to an automobile enthusiast and collector of mostly American Beauties. This was like about 3 years back. He had work going on on about 8-10 other cars in another garage alongside this one.

If its indeed powered by the Hemi, it was 425 cubic inches if I remember correctly and pumped out 425 bhp. But it was quite underrated, and actually put out close to 500 bhp. It could reach 60 in 6.5 seconds, and the 1/4 mile was done in 14 or so seconds. Fast even by todays standard. And this was in standard street tune. This is my second dream car (first one being the 560 SEL).

thts 1 thing in common about all american muscle cars of the 1960/70 era, the pretty much looked alike, except for a few minor grill changes, all had BIIG tyres, all had HUMONGOUS hoods and had ROCKING engines.

thnx for the info guys
