The original H1 or 'HUMVEE' is a more popular name for the HMMWV (High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicle) which is the original vehicle which became so popular after Desert Strom. All the later versions are just brand engineering by GM to sell a few cars. The H2 is a Chevy Tahoe underneath which itself is a very average UV. The H2 betters the Tahoe on ground clearance but suffers for it in interior space which is pathetic for a vehicle its size. Please refrain from using the 'HUMVEE' moniker when referring to the H2.

Spotted Hummer H2

I spotted this near Hosur during the Independence day weekend while we were driving from Bangalore to Coimbatore. This is the first time i have seen a Hummer in motion. Every time the guy accelerated the sound from the exhaust was just amazing - sounded more like an Aircraft than a truck.

Second best color on a Hummer apart from the Yellow, ofcourse. Also, real hot wheels.
