Has that R8 been traveling around as a display car in various cities ? I am asking as the one in Pune showroom was taken off 5 days back, and now Bangy has one with same colour.

Note : Might be pure co-incidence too though.

It must be the same display car, because this R8 is here for another 3-4 days.
Guess it will be travelling to some other city after this.

R8 has extremely low ground clearance. You can see it very clearly in one of Manish's pics (who we must credit for making the effort to take a shot of the underside) exactly how low it is. Is it workable for Indian roads?

And before you give me examples of other super cars, let me point out that Lambo, Ferrari, Maserati and Aston Martin have higher ground clearance than this

well, then, my (re)find pales in comparison...the one day that I forget my 5 MP cameraphone, I pull up right next to a dark blue Porsche Targa 4 in Frazer town! chased it (sort of, if you can call it that

) till Jayamahal road on my way home from work.

If its the same display car from Bombay, its also for sale. They are giving a 25L discount on it because its done around 1200 kms.

25 lakhs off huh? Not bad. But I don't think the discount compensates for the fact that the car's been driven 1200 Kms, most likely driven really hard. I guess it's a nice way to not have to wait for a new car though.
