Friday evening/night: Yellow Lambo Gallardo seen near MCC.

Saturday: The 69 Supra had come to our shop to change tyres, WA/WB. Had a long chat with the owner. He was really friendly as Manish said. He revved the engine for me and it sounds glorious!!

Awesome pics Manish ! Now only if the Prowler would join this Caterham, Bangalore would have some awesome cars.

Saw this Q5 today. Seems to be selling well. It's got the name on the headlight, kinda like the mighty maybach !

Why do these expensive cars have foldable mirrors that don't really fold. All the really do is point upwards and go in a little.

I guess only in India would it be required for your mirrors to completely fold due to the various hazards, and since these cars are designed in Germany, primarily for European and North American markets, my best guess is that the need does not arise for it to completely fold. This angel is used as a space-saver opposed to the damage precaution we Indians are concerned about.

@JAYR,
The Q5 is looking nice but I wonder why its ORVM's fold upwards?
Infact not only in Q5, I've noticed same in other cars too like Mercs etc.

Amazing pictures of the caterham, wonder what happened to the project after kari's demise. Besides san motors ,no one has really got to make inexpensive sports cars for the indian market i am sure a dc could build small units like these for around 10 to 15 lacs and there would be quiet a few takers

why will DC build it? he isn't into mass producing. there is a need for an entrepreneur. kari's son is currently in US. hope he does some good work of his father's rapport.
