@Koramangala BHPians: Do you have any sightings for the Hummer? The maximum imports are present in this locality. I have also lived there and seen many imports but have no pics. Please do post pics
@Baldresh Are we talking about the Blue Hummer H2/H3? I live in Koramangala and I have seen a blue Hummer H2 around. Will surely click and upload.

Ahh yes! Finally! Thank you so much. I have always intended to take a picture of the beast.
When I see it, I forget to take a pic.
When I remember, it is not there!

Could you please tell me if Ferrari will launch a NA model? and sell it alongside the future turbo/electrics? In the same way they currently sell the 458 alongside the more modern 488.

Thanks.

No, it’s gonna be Turbo V8 , Hybrid V8 and a “low cost” Dino model speculated to have a V6.
The next gen 812 successor will most likely be a hybrid V12.
This is the end of an era.

The 812 will be the last of the Ferrari naturally aspirated engines. And as for the 458, it was phased out long ago and was replaced by the 'more modern' 488. It is common knowledge. The NA V8 era died there for Ferrari.

Best to my knowledge the 488 was not seen as a replacement, although It clearly was being mid-engined like the 458, as It was still was(is?) on sale along-side the 488 GTB which led me to wonder If they would continue down this path of offering an NA alternative to the turbo.

Thanks for the answer though very sad to see them killing off their legendary NA's.

Not true. The 488 was indeed the replacement to the 458.

To put it simply, the 488 GTB is a 458 Turbo (with a facelift, of course), but instead of launching it with a 'T' designation like they did with the California, they decided to rename it altogether as the 488.

But as is the case with most supercar models, the end of the sale of one model usually overlaps the launch and even deliveries of the next. For example, I don't believe they've delivered a single Pista Spider anywhere in the world and they've already launched its successor, the F8 Tributo.

So it might be possible a few 458s were delivered after the 488 launch, for instance the Cornerstone 458 Spider, I believe, was delivered after even the 488 deliveries commenced. But other than that, no, they were never meant to be parellel production runs.

Re: Supercars & Imports : Bangalore

Is it just me people were a lot more spec-ballsy back in the day?

I remember the 599 days when people experimented with all kind of colors and combos, the Bottle Green car being my absolute fav and even the F12 times, there were a Blue, a Grey, a Black here and there.

But with the 812SF, I think roughly 5-6 cars already made it to the country and all are the exact same shade and near identical specs. I honestly can't even tell 'em apart anymore
