Few weeks ago I saw a maroon Alphard drive into Kanteerava Studios. Must be someone in the film industry.

Also yesterday, I saw a lady drive out a new grey BMW(3 or 5 series) from the same studio. Not sure which actress it was.

Look at those twin exhaust tips sticking out like a couple of water pipes those water tankers have in the back. And the Gujri rims slapped with those high profile tires fit for an MPV, not to mention the crappy looking red shkirting on the bumper and sides- and yeah the boot and roof (and probably the hood) painted in the same indescribable shade to match the shkirting and gosh look at those mudflaps.

Sorry for the rant and mentioning stuff which is pretty obvious from the pic, my heart aches looking at rare cars like this being trashed here- for god's sake keep it stock if you can't think of anything better.

Manish, where was this? Maybe I would even get around to the owner and offer him some much needed pointers even though its not my car and not my money...

A pic of the Murcielago Barchetta.
it was taken when the car had just arrived and was still on Temp plates.
Probably about 4 years back.
got this pic from a friend , not sure if its already on the forum, have seen other pics of it but don't think this particular pic has been posted before.

Cheers !!

Is it me or is it getting monotonous seeing different photos of the same cars again and again and again...?

I've heard the DRI has started to harass all the superbikers and therefore, most of them have gone underground. now is this a myth or a fact.

Has this got any effect on the supercars? seem like they've gone underground too. Not many are out on the road lately. More the reason the pursuit of imports has gone till the old integra too which has been beaten like a dead horse.

As for me, I refuse to take pix of the X3 which i see everyday. I only happen to see non exciting imports. Saw the "Biologicals" ML today and a green lexus 470 nee land cruiser.

+1 to that. I think its better to wait for cars seen for the first time rather than post the same ones again

eg: the 2 famous 430s(grey and red), the Gallardos, the GTR, the Maserati Granturismo.

I think we have had enough of those now.

Hate to cut short your rant but the rims are actually JDM of some kind, though not Enkei, they're superlight. The skirting was also imported originally, not made locally. Of course, if something breaks, you can only replicate it locally. The engine is completely rebuilt by someone who knows his twin-cam D16s -- whom you know as well -- and the car moves pretty well. It's on sale for well under a lakh, so you should really look into buying it. And yes, the headlamps work just fine.

wonder how often the ferraris, the lambhorgins and the rest of the pack are taken out during the day, with Kamakazi cab dirvers, bully bmtc bus drivers, maniacal auto drivers and bikers who think they are on street race mode no matter what, all vying for the few feet of road that's left post metro work.....
