Team India is at the glory of being the world champions, all of them are going to out shine bollywood stars with the cars they own. Here is the hottest update, captain of Team India M.S Dhoni is going to be gifted with a brand new 'Ferrari GTO INDIA' custom bult. Photos will be updated soon ........ yes thats the name Ferrari GTO India.

But weren't all GTOs sold out even before they got into production? Or is this a gift to him by some wealthy NRI who owns the GTO

That car is an LHD. I doubt it would be a legible import. But, with the current World cup win, they might permit it as a special case.

This is a great marketing campaign for Ferrari's entry into India !

Does not seem to be legit. Its an LHD + Has national flag on bonnet.

None of these would fly with customs.

Seems sketch. Considering they make GTO's in RHD, and if its an official Ferrari car, why are these images shot in a generic garage? Theres a Mustang, a W221 and what appears to be a Range Rover Sport in this garage. Looks like the Middle east to me.

According to email forwarded to me,this is getting readied in Abu Dhabi and goingto be gifted by a NRI to Dhoni .

Seems more like a hoax. Nobody repeat nobody is allowed to have a car with national flag painted like this. Even if somebody intends to present this car, it won't be allowed to be imported in India as it violets the guidelines of displaying a national flag on a car.

Sadly Money does not buy taste.
