And sorry for the noob question but in the last image, on the right hand side of drivers seat, actually almost beneath it; the lever that is protruding out; Is that the hand brake? If yes, how do you apply it unless the door is opened?

Yes, that is the hand brake. Once the door is shut, there is stuff enough space for your hands to move and use it.

If anyone was curious about Aston Martin's sales in India:

Aston Martin entered India in 2011 and 30 units were sold in its first two years. Thereafter, the going has been tough thanks largely to the steep hike in import duty on luxury cars from 110 to 184 per cent. Currency fluctuations vis-a-vis the UK pound fuelled the price spiral while demand in India plummeted in a sluggish economic scenario. Consequently, only 70 Aston Martins have been sold over the last five years.

Not trying to start a debate here but the California T being compared to the DB-11 is probably based on horsepower figures? One has a V8 Turbo charged engine and the other a V12 twin turbo. 552bhp to 600bhp(approx)

Then there's also the brand value. Trust me when I say it, If i have the spare money I wouldn't buy an Aston Martin either but I think this horrendous pricing has to do with it just being an 'Aston Martin'.

IMO, its like paying 3-5 crores for a Bentley which effectively has a VW engine.

Could also the low sales of Aston in the last couple years be attributed to the null development in their cars for the past few years? Now with the all new DB 11, maybe the other models will get some newer tech as well. Hopefully this will resurrect the brand by selling more units.
