Rosenbauer Panther - Delhi, Chennai, Cal & Mumbai Airports

I am back from my Goa Babe trip!

Not a fan of "Supercars & Imports in India", but thought may be you guys can just drool over these.

Note : This truck was Legally imported, and it is bad azz, and it can run over your illegally imported car!

The 30-tonne baby, delivers 5700 litres of foam per minute and has a top speed of 120 km/h.
Costs approximately - 40 Million INR (40 Crores) or 0.7 million Euros. (not bothered about dollar-convert it yourself, hehe)

That is wicked! Could you get any details or specs?

Wouldn't this post be more suited to the supercars and imports in India section, since it has been shot at Delhi.

IIRC pictures of the same have also been posted earlier by our dear Demented Simian when the trucks had been imported & had landed at Mumbai Dock Yards. I think there were 4 or so of them!

Yes, been posted earlier. Though I thought it was Steer who was the culprit.

No even I'm confused!! Here is the thread Rehaan:

https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/india...thread-13.html

And from what I can see, the pictures are the ones that Yeda Bandar posted. They've simply been copied & posted again. Needless, to say I found the pictures quite familiar & the conditions quite unlike Delhi Airport the first time I saw them.

the truck looks real neat. very hightech machine. great going for our country to finally realise they need new technology.
the truck pictures are not at the Delhi airport or any of the custom areas, but it looks to me to be a port area, where the containers get offloaded. the number of cranes and the shed with the wet floor all suggest this. i am not sure but it looks like Mumbai port. the crane company name and the uniform of the person standing next to the qualis suggest this. i have my doubts as the place looks very familiar.

Okay guys, as mentioned by a lot of you, this is a repost.
Thanks for the link Monkey & Irags (i've noticed that when you link to a specific page of a thread, it gets messed up depending on whether you sort posts "newest first" or "newest last". Either that or monkey just sent me the wrong link for fun..lol)

Here are the original pictures posted by Mad Monkey

As for the budding detectives that say that this is not Delhi airport, correct - I think eflanker put that in the thread title because thats whats written on the trucks, he didnt mention that the pics were taken there.

EDIT : I have re-opened this thread as there are some more pics and discussion on these vehicles - so probably better to have a dedicated thread.
