R1 relocating problem!

Hey guys i got a '98 r1 i want to import.... my friends told me that the import tax's for an older bike is more than a new one.... i really want my bike wit me..... its really buggin... if any of you know what procedures i need to follow to get it to bangalore please enlighten me!
