Re: Advice on purchasing my 1st Sportsbike

we have had quiet a few big bikes like a BMW ( 1978), honda cb 400n and now a cb 750-4 k, 1980. it is true that these bikes require lot of passion, time and good amount of money to buy spares, pay to knowledgable mechanic to get the job done. you also need to have small bike or a scooter for regular commute. since we prefer older bikes with no electronics, a little DIY can get the bike going. but over all i would say, it will be a little tough to maintain and ride as basic infrastructure like spares and mechanics are still difficult to get unlike smaller bikes. if you buy sports bike, you need to be careful with low back pain and you may soon loose interest in them.
