hi narula123 - they dont have the michelin PR3's. am specifically searching for PR'3s as they have an excellent grip on them. i have used peril diablo's and metzlers road tech z6. they are good but not as good as the PR3's.

i got stuck to PR'3s after riding my friends white busa for about 200 KM.

For those who can source tires from Mumbai here is a contact (Carl in Dadar) who can get you Michelin Pilot road 3's

I had a chat with him and my cousin is going to pick it up from him today 12-Mar.

Will post progress and price once the deal is done.

after 2 months of searching and contacts asking to pay upfront full amount (which I was not ready to risk) I finally settled for Dunlop sports max.

I ended up shelling out 28K for the set.

Looking forward to install them at end of this week. will post some pic's after that.

Update 1 - As mentioned in MArch i picked up dunlop sports max Front and rear tire
Rear lasted till 9k; the first sighting of meshed thread on the tire prompted me to get the tire replaced

Update 2 - Choose the Maxxis M6029 this time to get a better grip its claimed life of 9K km needs to be tested. Tires were changed on 25th dec 2013. Price 22600 Bangalore for a set.

Will post more info here as i put more KM on the bike.

Any contacts in Pune / Mumbai for sbk tyres? I need Michelins Pilot Power 2CTs for my 'blade: 120/70 ZR17 (58W) and 190/50 ZR17 (73W). No Pilot Road 2s, and no tyres that are older than 2015 manufactured. Am ok with paying a deposit for a fresh import. I can be reached at 9823106662.

People from Pune, whats a good place to change my Z800 tyres in Pune? I have already sourced the tyres, I just need a good professional shop which will replace the tyres for me.

Try Yogesh (9890710064). He runs a small, efficient superbike workshop in the lane behind City Pride (Satara Road).
