Hi Navpreet. Thanks for the kind words.

I have been giggling like a schoolgirl in my head last couple of days because of this bike.

I hope for the sake of enthusiasts all over India like yourself that Audi Ducati wakes up and changes the scenario in India as soon as possible.

Thanks. Most minor service like oil change, etc can be handled at home. The Service techs from Bangalore dealership will do home service for a price. Nobody really knows how a major issue will be handled, and are just keeping fingers crossed. I am not overly concerned, though. I can import any part I need through several OEM parts online stores, and plan on buying a downloadable service manual soon.

Cheers

Re: Ducati Diavel - Forged in Hell - Ownership Review

Congrats on owning one of the most gorgeous looking bikes on the planet at this time.

I could imagine that only a true enthusiast would go that extra mile to buy a DUC in India under the present conditions. Hope things get better soon on that front.

Wish you many many miles of enjoyable rides on this brute of a machine.

Ride Safe.

Re: Ducati Diavel - Forged in Hell - Ownership Review

Congrats Gthang, so finally we get to see the light of the bikes. Was following your booking ordeals on FB and it was shitty experience they offered you. Was surprised that even the CEO of Ducati did not have the courage/face to acknowledged their mistake and work progressively towards resolving your issue.

Anyways wish you miles of happiness with your new toy (just seen you picked up another blue bike as i key this in) and do keep us posted on your exploits. Hope to bump into you one of these days.

Thanks Haroon. Means a lot, coming from a Globetrotting Biker such as yourself.

Thanks GTO. Kind of feel my review is highly disjointed. Please forgive me, as the excitement of the Diavel has me a little unsettled. Will try to keep updating with some pics and videos as I go along.

Thanks ku69rd. I'm sorry, but you might have me confused with my friend who was posting my letters to Ducati on his FB. He also has a Diavel. I am not on FB

Thanks mohammedismail. Never been big on photography, but the Diavel just might make me go out and get me a real camera one of these days

Congrat on your bike sir! If I have to describe your Daviel in the words I want to, possibly I will end up with a million infractions here! But she is a beauty! Evil, beastly, elegant!

More pics and videos please! cheers. And congrats once again!

Re: Ducati Diavel - Forged in Hell - Ownership Review

Woah man!

Now I'm not a bike person but that's got me weak in the knees like nothing else. I have very little to NO riding experience so I know I'll probably never find myself on a bike, at least in India. But if I do have the money, I'd buy them and just keep them in my living-room. Blasphemy, I know!

That thing looks huge, but it's utterly gorgeous! Loving the little details. You're going to have one heck of a time!

Take care, ride safe and hearty congratulations to you, Sir!

The Diavel is one bike I always dream of. Its so unconventional and oozes a certain evil charm, that always has me attracted to it.

Re: Ducati Diavel - Forged in Hell - Ownership Review

Excellent write-up and pics gthang. She does look massive and even more menacing in the flesh. I completely missed noticing the display on the fuel tank when i saw a brand new piece being wheeled into the Blore showroom for the launch.

Thanks again for taking us lesser mortals through the features and mod's.

Congrats and wishing you many happy and safe miles on this monster... ummm diavel.

I saw the pic of Diavel registered in KL couple of days back in FB. Man it was yours?

Congrats friend for this Devil. By the way I too belongs to the same district.
