Ah Ok! They have been around for a while. It is known as HFS ( Hi-Flow Silencer) so don't know since when it was given this new name TOR

It is/was priced at 22K and agree with you sounds subtle, sweet and very distinct and non-intrusive at highway speeds

I regret even now on why I chose Arrows over HFS

The brand was always known as TOR, high flow/free flow is the difference in the flow pattern that describes the nature of silencer. It is not street legal, so Triumph markets it as Triumph Offroad Road. Yes TOR has been there for many years, much earlier to Triumph launch in India.

Avinash,

Why is this interest mate ? I thought you've become an oriental after ditching the Brits Or are you looking for a dual "citizenship"?

Best Regards & Ride Safe

Ram, even if I do not own the Bonnie anymore, I don't seem to have fallen out of love with it.

I still fondly remember it and hope to get into a dual citizenship mode in future

re: Triumph Bonneville Discussion Thread: My "Black Bruiser" is SOLD !!!

I bought a pair of Continental GT rear shocks from the Enfield dealer yesterday. Costed me 11580 for a pair. Need to take it to the dealer for fitment. I just took it today to show them (Keerthi), but they said they have not fitted it earlier and was not sure if any modifications were necessary. They asked me to book a time and bring it over. I have told them its a direct fit but I'm also not too sure. If any of you have fitted, can you please share your inputs if there are any challenges in fitment. Any different nuts/bolts required etc. Usage review has been shared by Pawan he is very positive. Need to know any fitment challenges. Thanks

Re: "Triumph Riders of India" online store - anybody ordered from them before?

I've ordered some titbits from them like a front number plate relocation bracket etc, nothing big. The guys were helpful and sent it on time and well packed. Called me up before packing and ensured they send the right nuts and bolts.

It's a different story altogether that I've not relocated the number plate or the rectifier or added the horn I've procured from various places.

Seems like a bunch of enterprising young folks.

Cheers,
Sting

I have bought the number plate relocation bracket and ignition relocation kit from them and installed as well. Good experience with them so far.

Try this. http://shop.triumphindia.org/product...sb-integration

I use something similar, but mine has two USB sockets. Picked it up at my local bike mechanics for 1500 odd rupees. So far, it's worked fine through the rain etc, although not charging while it rained.

Hope this helps.

As mentioned at the bottom of the review the new Resonate unit now comes with a solid metal mount onto the rearview mirror stalk unlike the earlier models with the tie-wrap juggad. So with a spring washer added to the mirror stalk, both mirror and your mount will be secure I guess.
