VnH is directly available in India! May cost a little bit more but zero hassles/headaches!

Meanwhile any experience with jpcycles?
JP Cycles are very good! Haven't heard a bad thing about them so far.

Secondly -- I'd say, Get the bike, Ride it for a couple of thousand KMS (#LLb can definitely pitch in there) Look at what folks have done to their bikes, compare with what your wants/needs are - Then take the dip!

I strongly suggest, Experience "STOCK" first!

Yes but now at about 44K! Steep price from what I have been suggested here (about 23-25K)

Not Quoted for me but have seen this price on a website. Not able to recollect the site.
I will ask the Tusker people also - i remember you had these installed by them. If it is around 30K even then it is OK. But as far as SE it is 40+K - from the horse's mouth itself! Almost doubled the prices!!

Meanwhile trying to get a look at my ride today - not able so have asked them to permit me to visit their stockyard at least !

SE slip on's are prohibitively expensive for all the muted sound it makes.

They will not let you visit the stockyard. When is the scheduled delivery?

Not heard the new 2014 SE. I have been reading that these are somewhat muted than the earlier ones. So starting to think of V&H for my Superlow.
I request opinion of all the senior HD riders on this.

Planning to take delivery on Monday.

Lets catch up after your delivery - Perhaps on a weekend ride. a couple of my buddies have SuperLow with VnH and they are absolutely loving it!

Agree on Shubz to use your bike for a couple of thousand KMs and then plunge into the VnH or SE options available. I ride a superlow and have a SE (2011) on it and enjoy the sound very much. It does wake up my neighbors Sunday early morning while I start my bike.

Yes 2014 SE is on a mute mode and maybe V&H is a good option. Trust me I sometimes think of wearing ear plug when I ride behind Shubz or some of the other riders with V&H. They are definitely loud and some of them are very very loud. Once you get onto HOG FB page or Tusker FB page, you would also see quiet a few of them selling their V&H or SE as it is too loud or they may not want to upgrade or bought a wrong part to a wrong bike from US. Do watch out for some of those.

Also, in our weekly breakfast rides you should window shop couple of rides with a variety of V&H and SEs fitted so that you can choose the appropriate one for your ride.

All the best mate and looking forward to see you soon on one of the rides and do SHOUT in case you need any assistance or clarification and there are quiet a few #LLBs around to assist you. In case you are in Tusker on Saturday then do PM, some of us may be around.

Ride Safe, All time all Gear and see you soon. #LLB.

And I don't see why you should use only SE on a Superlow. Iron and Superlow are exactly the same mechanically. I would only suggest V&H.

I had also stumbled upon motosport.com, and some consumer review sites had some bad reviews in them. But it would be best if you could ask someone who has actually purchased from there, unfortunately I don't know anyone who has. Also I found that Revzilla had cheaper prices compared to others. Have you tried getting a quotation for V&H from the dealership itself?
This is how it thunders when a VH'd Harley rolls
Use proper speakers/headphones.

Another #SundayRide . We did Kovalam-Thonakkal along with #manutopia ( Street Bob). Thankfully Street Bob is in run-in period Have to max out Vespa to catch the Iron.

And, Vespa feels like a electric scooter when I ride with Stiggy :(
