Doesn't look like the launch was scheduled for the 18th. The Bandra showroom is closed. But the bikes are there, you can see them behind the honeycomb shutters!!

"Mind Blasting" by Ducati

Clearly there is no such phrase as "Mind Blasting" (Except Russel Peters influence), but unfortunately the English dictionary is at a loss of words to explain the feeling you get astride a Ducati. To hell with logic, sensibilities and the worldly ways..all for a day at Ducati's new flagship showroom/workshop at Gurgaon.

I can write on and on but I can't keep you away from these gleaning beauties. The pics are enough to rob your peace!!

The standard exhaust sound is enough to make you go week in the knees and for the world to see a "God on 2 wheels". The Diavel and Panigale 899 test rides were outlandish. The acceleration was manic and that too on a restricted power mode. It has been days yet the sound is still playing in my ears.

Seems I am smitten...the saving for a new beast in my life starts.

Is there any news or contact details available on the Mumbai dealership? My brother is planning on buying a Monster in Pune so has been waiting a long time for any news on the dealership.

Prices in the UK have always been expensive. Generally you get ripped off if you are planning to buy anything in UK

Offcourse we can compare it with the prices in Thailand as majority of motorcycles are shipped into India from Bangkok...

Nevertheless its an interesting comparison which you have pulled up

@Mods: You want to edit the Header as Ducati have opened shop?

Fantastic pictures AC_genius. Simply love the Diavel. Do share your thoughts on it. Seems to be reasonably priced too except for the Titanium version. 42 Lakhs is a lot of money for a two wheeler.

Amazing and i hope to see many diavels on the road soon. Service is the key here for their success as the ducs do need this at a regular intervals. If thats done without a head ache then you have a winner on your hand.

The experience of owning a Euro is something different.

re: Ducati to re-enter India in 2015. EDIT: Bikes priced from Rs. 7.08 lakhs (page 6)

I have never been into Superbikes in my life except that Hayabusa since when I was a kid. Two-wheelers in general I don't find myself attracted to but for some reason this brand makes some very delicious looking bikes!

I actually stopped my car to the side of the road when I noticed a showroom for Ducati had opened up as I was passing by.
I asked for the Ex-showroom tag of the 848 but was told it wasn't in stock but something called the 899 Panigale was. Apparently this has replaced the 848 I fell in love with when I saw it in a film a couple years ago : ). Took a few pictures for you all. The number plate is not blanked out as it's a test drive model:

The Ducati Bangalore showroom is coming up at UB City next to the Jimmy Choo Store, I am told.

That will make Harley Davidson, Ducati, Mercedes Benz, Lamborghini and Porsche in close vicinity. Any idea what happened to the existing Ducati dealership (now closed) next to the Chemistry store near the Lavelle Junction?

You can even add Triumph & Benelli showrooms all in walkable distance.

A friend who has his office in UB City told that the dealership will be operational by May first week.

Yes a lot of dealerships in the area now.
