Re: DSK-Benelli launches 5 motorcycles in India

Had been to the Benelli(Jogeshwari) showroom today.
For booking the TNT 300.

The dealer has stopped taking bookings.
Reason: They might shutdown the showroom.

There were no sales reps in the showroom just one employee.
She informed that there is a new dealer in Thane who is accepting the bookings.

I personally was very disappointed.

Re: DSK-Benelli launches 5 motorcycles in India

Benelli TNT 600i now comes with ABS, priced at Rs. 6.53 lakh

Benelli has added Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as an option on its most popular bike in India, the TNT 600i. This has increased prices of the Benelli naked bike by around Rs. 40,000, as the TNT 600i ABS variant is now priced at Rs. 6.53 lakh. Despite this price rise, the TNT 600i is still the most affordable inline four-cylinder bike available in India.

Not seeing people buying these bikes or posting reviews about these. Till date have seen just one 600i on the road in Mumbai.

BENELLI DECLARED BANKRUPT BY ITALIAN COURT

Now what is this new drama?

http://www.morebikes.co.uk/benelli-d...italian-court/

It seems the Chinese company Qianjiang (Q.J.)which manages Benelli has the money and has agreed to pay but then why did the Italian firm had to go through all of that drama, cause the amount of debt looks very minimal.
Not at all good for the company who is still struggling to find firm feet in the market

Re: DSK-Benelli launches 5 motorcycles in India

Wonder what happened to the BX 250 (img)?

Are they planning to launch any time soon. I am looking to replace my impulse with this but it seems to have gone silent. Does anyone have any insider news?

Re: DSK-Benelli launches 5 motorcycles in India

Have they increased the prices over the last one year?

I remember going to the Benelli showroom after the brand launch last year and end up feeling its a great VFM option compared to the Kawasaki rivals. But the price advantage seems to be a thing of the past now, and they seem to be competing purely on the i4 advantage.

Some of the Bangalore prices - (All prices OTR Bangalore)

Kawasaki ER6N (Without ABS)- 5.97 L
Kawasaki Ninja 650 (Without ABS) - 6.48 L
Benelli 600i (Without ABS) - 6.62 L
Benelli 600i ABS - 6.99L

Benelli 600 GT (Without ABS) - 7.31 L
Benelli 600 GTS (Without ABS) - 7.75 L
Kawasaki Versys 650 ABS - 7.79L

The current Ninja 650 is cheaper by 40k. The dealers don't show that on the pricelist.

Re: DSK-Benelli launches 5 motorcycles in India

I don't know if this has been mentioned in any other thread. I request moderators to shift this post to appropriate thread:

Benelli to launch RE competitor. 400cc Imperiale

Going by the looks, RE does have a good competitor. If the price mentioned is correct ( under 2L), then RE better watch out..

DSK-Benelli launches 5 motorcycles in India

They have also went ahead and claimed that they would be launching 19 new models by the end of 2019. I have my eye on TNT135 which would rival against Honda Navi and updated TNT300 i.e. 302S. Pricing and availability would be the major role here. As per the updated list from Mahavir (New vendor for Benelli) the only Benelli partner here in north India is in Delhi, rest of the dealers are shut. I mean why? Infra and all are already in place.🧐
