To me, the Fat Boy has always been the bike that Arnold rode in Terminator. I always felt that there is no other color than black that will suit the Fat Harley. But looking at your bike changed my perception. The "maroon" color does look good!

Many congratulations Shubz on the Fatty. I have been riding a Fatty quite regularly on the last few rides and yes the ride is so much more settled than a Sportster. The torque too is more linear and less maniac than the Sportster. Wishing you years of happiness with your ride. Ride safe!

The bike that makes the brand if you will, though I know many purists would disagree depending on their personal preferences. And yes, the RayBan Wayfarer wearing stone faced Arnie atop is what's made it even more iconic. No two ways about that. Just resist for as long as you can the urge to smash it through an overpass guardrail onto the top of a moving semi, all the while pumping shells into your sawed-off shotgun!

Doc u have the T2 confused with some Mithun flick. James Cameron would never go for a motorcycle going through a guardrail. Here's how that awesome sequence goes:

A girl / boy (jury's out) is trying to get away from a big black semi (freightliner) that's trying to run him over because of his hairstyle. It's the semi that goes through the guardrail from the bridge above

Awesome Arnie on his black iron horse (that nicely accomodates a shotgun) has his mind set on kicking butts. Goes through traffic, by lane, chain link fence - BOOM, no chain link fence, rotate shotgun in the coolest ever way to load up another round, cuts across a Main Street, another by lane, another chain link fence meets it's demise, by lane suddenly gets narrow and the dead end is a 25 foot drop. No brakes, he guns it n lands on terra ferma in a glorious shower of sparks. Lines up behind the semi, semi blocks him off, SCREEECCCHHH, the rear wheel of the fatty locks up. He fakes a pass n immediately overtakes the semi from the other side, missing the furious freightliner by mere inches

Lifts up the man-girl with his fingernail, puts a round in the simi's front wheel n goodnight mercury dude
