Doc, Ricci and //M -- It was very thoughtful of you guys to have come down to catch up with me. I ain't sure if you guys felt comfortable when I thrust you all into my room that was already crowded with guzzlers at it!

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THAT GESTURE!

Wish we had some time. Could've done a ride!

Whats with that damn tunnel at the entrance/exit of Pune? Its scary, suffocating and with shady exits where random bikes just pop into the main stretch ?

Cheers

No man, we were all most comfortable, and even learned a party trick from you in the bargain.

Yes, we should definitely do a ride some time soon. Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Hyderabad guys - its a pretty equidistant spread of major biking cities (apologies to the guys up north or further down south, though you are most welcome!).

Do share with the group how impressed you Bengalurians were with our fair city and our disciplined and orderly civilized traffic. Especially when compared to what you poor guys have to endure daily in Bangalore!

That funky tunnel is called the "Viaduct". A lot of our Bushnel radar gun speed testing in the very early days used to be done on the stretch just after exiting it on the Pune side. Before the traffic became what it is today.

Re: 2015 Harley Davidson Fatboy - Rambo comes home!

Shubz sir, Dkaile sir, ebonho and apologies if I have missed on any other fellow BHPians, who own and ride harleys. I must thank you all for having a great thread and a write up on the reviews of the bike you all own and the rides mentioned and experiences. Have been a true influence in me loving HARLEY brand and bikes.

I have ridden my brothers 2012 Superlow a lot of times and its mostly with me. Looking forward to owning and booking my own Sportser model, soon. Just kind of in a lurch whether Harley will come up with new models and colours for the sportster range or not?

Having said that I read all of you great peoples threads frequently and always excited to see any new updates. (Now waiting on dkaile sirs' more pics and updates on the heritage) and was so excited and happy to see shubz sirs WHR ride.

Will definitely make it a point to meet you all nice people when my Harley comes.

Apologies again if i missed on any other fellow BHPians who own Harleys . :-)

Shubz,

Nice to see you back on the forum, when are these upgrades being done?
The Vance n Hines would they not void your warranty? Is it a FFE or those simple slip ons?

I should be getting these done by the end of the month. Amen! And warranty... What warranty ? Those crappy screaming Eagles stuff? I'd rather stay stock as I will be bound with one tune that too a race tune. At most I could take it to a private service station and get a different tune. Not sure how feasible is that. But the true character of Harley, only VnH can give it. And yes j am going for Full system. Gone are the days of slip ons 😝

Me too bro. I always enjoy the part where online friends become flesh and bone buddies.

Look forward to it. Nothing better to cement the above than to ride together. I realize your club might/would have issues with "plastics" (and my metal would be way too slow), so let's figure out if we can ride together some stretch of the way. Would be super. In rains, even better!

LOL I quite enjoyed the cringing horror and frustration of your friends. We Punekars are very proud of our immaculate driving and riding skills sir! And we make it a point to try extra hard to impress out of town non-MH 12 guests even more.

Now imagine the sadistic pleasure I derive from making it a point to advocate as an "exotic thrill" local flavor experience an auto ride at peak hour to all my foreign guests at least once.

Wow that's amazing to read. Splurging on those FFE and I think should bump into you. Its such a shame that I have still not caught up with you even though you are in the neighboring locality :(

Hmmm...riding in Bangalore is an art buddie but am afraid you are not getting a taste of it on an everyday basis

As I was telling Shubz, the few times I have been in Bangalore, being ferried around in chauffeured office/client cars, what I have increasingly seen is frustrated gridlock.

Pune is very different. Its is moving chaos. Rarely if ever gridlocked. It will keep moving. With the bikers like water. Finding every possible opening. Flowing through the path of least resistance. Then eroding. Finally battering. Can't find a path for forward movement after all possible moves have been blocked (like a chess player)? No problem. Jump on to the pavement. Jump over the median. Ride along the median, then jump back on to the road in the middle of moving traffic. Police? Powerless spectators. No bikes, no Gypsies, no walkie talkies, and more often than not, no inclination or interest. Smile if in the mood wave and move on.

Pune traffic.

Re: 2015 Harley Davidson Fatboy - Rambo comes home!

Some little visual appeal stuff went on Rambo! Burst Series. (Not great pics as Dhiraj's) but some nevertheless.

I will be riding to Kanyakumari and back (thanks to Rakesh_s for the company)

Am waiting for the big ones though
1) VnH Super Radius (which should be down here in the next couple of days)
2) FuelPak 3 - (already in possession)
Waiting to unleash the monster in Rambo!

Cheers!
