Very interesting. Superbike stock market in a tizzy.

It's like, Suzuki has just planted a bomb with the 2lakh price drop.

A lot of price correction in the new and resale markets are expected.

Good times for the biking community.

Re: Rumour: Suzuki to locally assemble the Hayabusa

It is time for some tiered drivers licence system with 2 wheelers. It is going to be crazy to allow a rich teenagers licensed on a tiny 125cc bike to ride a Busa out of a showroom. I expect a few "Bought a Busa & crashed a Busa" threads.

Suzuki has earmarked an exclusive, special production line within its present Manesar manufacturing facility from where the 2016 model Hayabusa shall be assembled.
Just hope, this is not an early April fools prank on the biking community from both Autocar and Suzuki

But if true, the ZX 14 R would just look more dearer ( Its almost 21 big ones on road in Mumbai).

Its a really interesting move, as there is news of a totally new Hayabusa doing the rounds, and if it makes it to India via the CKD route, that would really seal the deal for many prospective SBK buyers (including me) over the current ZX 14 R, one for pricing and two for being more powerful and faster than the 14R. Not that we need or can even handle that kind of power, but everyone would like to own the fastest bike on the planet

The all new Hayabusa is going to be a model year 2018 launch, not before that.
