Anoop Prakash, the former Managing Director of Harley-Davidson India, has moved to Canada and assumed the role of MD of Harley-Davidson Canada. He is now based in Toronto.



Anoop Prakash will lead Harley-Davidson's a new subsidiary office in the North American country as the company begins direct distribution to independently owned Harley-Davidson dealers.

Harley-Davidson India has not named a new MD as yet. Rajiv Vohra, Harley-Davidson India's market operations manager, will serve as the interim MD.

Anoop Prakash was with Harley-Davidson India for more than six years.

Harley India's loss is Harley Canada's gain.

I've never personally interacted with Anoop, but hold him in high regards. Clearly a skilled businessman. He established not only the Harley-Davidson company in India, but also its culture, riding events & brand pull which are major contributors to their success.

Big shoes to fill for sure.
